The best i can give this show is a 6/10. It's just that when watching this show, i just kept thinking of other shows it reminded me of. Mostly Ned's Declassified with the whole Middle school plot and the Missy character. The main character are a girl, a boy, and an African-American kid. The Main character the girl talk a little like Katy fro Big time rush and feels like Jennifer, the male kid felt like Kendall and James were put into a blender and poured into a shot glass, and the African-American Kid is Cookie, but less tech- savvy and feels like Logan. The Principal is in a way VP Crubbs, but not really that guy that'll prevent you from getting in trouble. He's more like a laid back principal that honestly wants to friend the students. The episodes are basically the main character sees something in the school or her family and they do something about it. One thing i didn't like about it is the name sounds like being in HS is a bad thing, because the only thing that happens at high school is Teen Pregnancy and multiple deaths, like Degrassi. That's my two cents, it's okay

I don't know how he does it, but the man seems to capture the fun and craziness of middle school. He did it before with Ned's Declassified, and he's doing it now with 100 Things.
Personally, I felt that middle school was a more innocent time. We were teenagers, but we didn't have jobs or cars yet. And I feel that is what Scott captures in this show, the fun side of middle school.
I know I'm not in the age group here, but I think that this is a great show. It's not like Henry Danger or that other crap that's on Nick nowadays, it's a simple show about the fun times you have in middle school and how to survive them. Unlike Henry Danger, this show has interesting characters. I like how CJ is so determined to get things done. You don't see that too often on TV these days.
So, that was 100 Things to Do Before High School. It's worth a checkout. The characters are not annoying, the story lines makes sense, and it has a nostalgic factor in me.

Ned's Declassified... 10 Years Later

I know it's been a little over 10 years since Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide first premiered, but it was still running new episodes 10 years ago. This show has a lot of the same feelings that NDSG had back when I watched it during my middle school years. This show has three best friends similar to the gang of Ned, Moze, and Cookie from the first show. This time we have CJ, Crispo, and Fenwick.
CJ (Ned equivalent)- 7th grade girl all excited about high school thinking it's gonna be great and amazing. Her brother informs her that it isn't gonna be all great and she will probably lose all her friends. She decides to do whatever it takes to make her middle school years last forever by coming up with a giant list of things to do with her friends to help keep their friendship together. She sort of explains everything to us throughout the show, sort of like Ned did.
Crispo (Moze equivalent)- 7th grade boy who has been Cj's friend ever since she saved his life from chocking on a toy back in Kindergarten. Used to have a dorky haircut and braces. He got his braces taken off, and took styling advice about his hair from CJ. He becomes popular and known throughout the school on their first day back. Seen kind of as the cool one, a lot like Moze was.
Fenwick (Cookie equivalent)- 7th grade boy who has been friends with CJ and Crispo since Kindergarten and is the smart brainy one of the group. A little goofy at times and doesn't mind getting involved in schemes at times and yet concerned about getting into trouble at the same time, a lot like Cookie was.
So as we see, we practically have the whole gang back together again, with a couple little twists in there. Similar idea with them being in middle school, trying to survive in a sense of trying to make the most out of what they have. Non the less, this show was created by the person who created Ned's Declassified and Big Time Rush, so if you were fans of those shows then you will recognize a lot of the same sound effects.
This show is definitely worth watching if you were originally a fan of Ned's Declassified. Still it isn't as good, but is almost as good. Definitely a good show for kids to if you like little goofy antics of kids getting into trouble and all that middle school stuff. The show is for sure a good show, so give it a chance.

On a growing list of fun shows! You, your kids, your friends, your kids' friends have a new show to try not to miss. You guys! The story is told as a memory of the young lady , C.J. , who is the heroine, her singing dream reveals some terrible truths about life, getting older, moving on and losing friends and associates dear to you in your youth... and she sets out to be rather than a victim of time -the master of the craft... via the first of 100 things to do before she , they , each , we , all get to be adult....the acting, actress and actors and the adults here are best, best, best. The action is nearly hilarious as the twists and turns, top notch.This may be the finest of silly and "moralistic" teen adventures as i tell you by way of prediction it shall grow on you. And you shall be glad for it.

Every time I see this TV program on my TV converter, I just get annoyed. It's so casual, so but so not funny with mediocre actors. In my country there are frequent youth programs from the past few years, I clearly prefer a program like Henry Danger or iCarly. Let's start with the fact that photography on the program gets on your nerves, as if it's for children under the age of 10. There were a few episodes I liked a little, the rest were bad. The only actor in the series who almost manages to make me laugh is Owen Joyner, the rest is awful and especially the main character Isabella, I can not say whether she is a bad actress or that her character is just bad and boring, bored girl. Thank God it ended up with only 25 episodes, hoping it was the end. However, in relation to the junk series of Nickelodeon's last years like make it pop, rock school and worst game Shakers this series is a relatively fine series but on the other hand a bad series 5/10

100 Things to Do Before High School is funny and entertaining, two words I never thought I'd use with a Nick sitcom again. Most "Nick-coms" of the past few years have ranged from clichéd (iCarly and Victorious) to inconsistent (The Thundermans) to just awful (Haunted Hathaways). But 100 Things, created by Scott Fellows (Ned's Declassified) is simply brilliant.
Like Ned's Declassified, the show focuses on the lives of three middle-schoolers: C. J. (Isabela Moner), Crispo (Owen Joyner), and Fenwick (Jaheem Toombs). Together, they make a to-do list of everything they need to do before high school. The premise sounds hackneyed, but the result is anything but.
The acting from almost everyone involved is top-notch. Moner brings effortless charm to C. J., one of the most likable leads in any teen sitcom I have seen. Unlike recent Nick female leads, she's not a drama queen and doesn't overact, lending her character a relatable charm. Toombs and Joyner compliment each other well; Toombs's Fenwick obsesses over details while Joyner's Crispo takes a decidedly laid-back approach. Even the supporting cast, including venomous bully Mindy Minus (Brady Reiter) and guidance counselor/voice of reason Mr. Roberts (Jack De Sena, better known for playing Sokka on Avatar The Last Airbender).
Refreshingly, there's no laugh track present, and the writing is so good that it doesn't need one. In fact, the writers are the same geniuses behind Fellows' Ned's Declassified. As in Ned's Declassified, the writers never hesitate to throw in surreal or random elements, often to hilarious effect.
If you've given up on quality programming from Nickelodeon, I highly recommend 100 Things to Do Before High School. It's creative and funny and I hope it gets the long run it deserves.

This is a story about three friends in their last year of middle school. One guy starts to become very serious about studying, and another becomes suddenly popular, leaving the third to be very concerned about the future of their friendship. She tries to think up reasons to get the trio back together. She comes up with an idea of a project/challenge. One of the teachers captured a raccoon and keeps it in a cage in his classroom. The three embark on a mission to free the raccoon.
As you can imagine, it's not easy, and something always seems to go wrong. Some of the mishaps they have are hilarious involving destruction of a newly renovated luxury office that the new principal is so proud of and being pursued by the principal and other staff. It made me lol out loud. At the end, the friendship triangle is renewed and the three look forward to many adventures during their last year of middle school.

disappointingly derivative and PHONY beyond belief

Why would an adult even watch this program? Well, there are two reasons. First, I have two preteen sons, and I'm interested in what they _may_ be induced to watch, though their intelligence presupposes them to favor content way beyond _this_ drivel. Second, I am entranced by Nickelodeon's endless experiments in subtly forced social engineering, in particular, in convincing children that there's something wrong with them if 25 to 33 percent of their friends aren't black.
Others have pointed out that this show strongly resembles "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," and, indeed, it does. (Of course, how far can one go in retreading the same old material?) What offends me the most is not the stupidity, but the incredible phoniness of the forced troika of protagonists. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that Fenwick--with his offensively in-your-face speech patterns and Maasai warrior-type body language--would be of the REMOTEST social interest to appearance-conscious C.J. or timid Christian. It doesn't work on any level, much as the strainedly nutty, profoundly offensive behavior (not to mention, physically revolting body language) of Cookie didn't work alongside Ned and Moze in "Ned's." (Nor did it escape my notice--from the demographic propriety section--that, while not "in your face" about it, C.J. is obviously Hispanic.)
One final word: I am disappointed that an unbelievably talented voice actor like Jack de Sena, who has demonstrated his remarkable ad-libbing capabilities in many contexts, would waste time with the undistinguished role of the guidance counselor in "100 Things." I guess he, too, needs to earn a few ducats. You can't live on "Avatar: Airbender" (now THAT is a FABULOUS show!) residuals all your life . . .

A great new show on Nickelodeon! My 11 yr old daughter and her middle school friends loved the pilot. They laughed and laughed throughout the episode. I enjoyed watching as well and was pleasantly surprised that I was entertained by a show aimed at tweens/teens. I was also happy to see that it was rated TV-G, which is rare treat on TV nowadays. The main actress, Isabela, did an amazing job. She has such an expressive face and is super funny! Yet, she is not annoying like Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana. Also appreciated the fact that there is no "laugh track" used--those can drive adults nuts. My daughter thought Fenwick was hilarious and all the girls could really relate to the scenarios presented (or could appreciate how they were exaggerated for effect). Overall, a great new addition to Nick and we look forward to seeing more in this series.
And Ned has returned!.... as a teenage girl?

Um, let's see, well to start off, I must admit it is an entertaining show, but let's look at the reason for that: It is almost an exact copy of Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide which was a show I loved in my childhood. Scott Fellows must have thought, "oh no one will remember that show 10 years later" when he created this. Sure it's funny, but all I can think of is how similar it is to Ned in almost every way. That aside, perhaps that's the only reason I'm drawn to watch it, perhaps it wouldn't interest me if it didn't remind me of Ned, I mostly search for the similarities when I'm watching it and find it hard to enjoy as its own story. However if you never seen Ned's declassified school survival guide, this is your next best option for cheesy (genuinely quite funny) shenanigans from middle schoolers now that Ned is off the air for quite a few years already. Definitely a nice comedic show for today's generation who hasn't seen Ned I suppose, but still in 2nd place when you compare the 2.

Scott Fellows, after making Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Big Time Rush, has finally made his defining TV show. It stars Isabela Moner as CJ, a girl in middle school who has a troubling wake-up call from her brother about high school, telling her she will lose her friends from middle school when she gets there. So now CJ is out to do 100 things with her friends in hopes of making the three of them friends forever.
It's essentially a satire of middle school (and a very good one at that). It has the rebel girl (CJ), the brainiac (Fenwick), the moronic cool kid (Crispo), the diva (Mindy), the non-caring guidance counsellor (Mr. Roberts), and the evil principal (Mrs. Hader). It always pokes fun at the school system, and it's hilarious. Not to mention the characters are extremely likable, even the antagonistic characters. CJ is by far my personal favourite. She has a heart of gold.
Then you have your classic Scott Fellows trademarks. There's the quick-paced slapstick comedy, the over-the-top characters, and the cartoon sound effects, the last of which have been played down when you compare it to Big Time Rush. That should be a whole topic of its own.
The sound effects are used effectively here, and not for every time someone moves. Fellows seems to have listened when the use of sound effects in Big Time Rush garnered a lot of criticism, and he's found that perfect balance. They're perfectly timed comically, they always fit, and they're kept to a minimum.
Lastly, the acting. It's brilliant, and the principal, while being the most over-the-top, deserves an award. The child actors all do a great job as well, and conform to their characters' roles with ease. Then, by far my favourite, Isabela Moner. She's the most likable female lead I've seen in a while, and she seems to have a hidden comedic talent, with her facial expressions and her dialogue. It seems that this show will have 100 episodes total if it makes it through to the end (which it should), and I look forward to every single one of them. The same director that created this series also created Ned's Declassified School Survival guide, which is rather similar. However, in Ned's Declassified, the music was livelier, and even the "mean" characters were more hilarious and laid-back. The characters' voices are just too stale in this series. Also, the plots are too choppy in 100 Things, whereas they were smoother in Ned's Declassified. I liked Cookie more than Fenwick because Cookie was less arrogant, more hilarious, and more tech-savvy.
I think the idea is good though, just the show structure is too stale compared to Ned's Declassified.

Boring and Unfunny Remake of Neds Declassified

Scotts Fellows returns to Nickelodeon with a lame and dull remake of his awesome first sitcom Neds Declassified School Survival Guide. It's basically Ned with a girl as the main character.
The lead girl is uninteresting and her facial expressions are obnoxious. I just wanna punch her in the face. She is kinda similar to Moesly.
The nerdy token black friend is basically the Cookie of this show. He's lame and annoying.
Crispo is the best character on the show. Why can't he be the lead character. He's like a cool version of Ned.
Mindy is basically the Bitsy/Missy of the show.
Neds Declassified had memorable side and minor characters that we all remember and loved. This show on the other hand.... the rest of the characters are forgettable.
The only decent thing about this show is the intro theme song, other than that this show SUCKS!

Not A Bad School and Growing Up Series For Viewers To Watch

This is an alright series for viewers to watch. I enjoyed watching it but not that much. The storyline of the whole series was nice and good. The cast selection was fine. This series really reveals to viewers the true insight and reality of growing up and balancing a life. It shows all the possible challenges and difficulties that anyone can have in their lifetime. My life is full of challenges and difficulties. It never ends. These sort of shows always have something to teach to all viewers that can help them somehow in life. Some of the things that are shown in this series are the things that I should have back in the past. This is a nice series for viewers to watch.

100 Things to Do Before High School is a fun and clever series that transforms an everyday middle school experience into a outrageous adventure. CJ's list of "Things" open up a world of possibilities that often lead to surprisingly unpredictable endings. The comedy is smart, and each episode's plot sparkles with twists and sneaky foreshadows that are tied up quite brilliantly. The characters may have started off as archetypes, but their over-the-top portrayals and tiny quirks bring them to life. Although most of the story centers around the blossoming friendship between CJ, Fenwick, and Crispo, CJ's relationship with her family provides a pleasant element not much seen in today's kid's television that makes it even more special. Excellent writing.
Nick did a big mistake giving this 1 season.

They should have at least gave it 2 seasons or maybe 4?? Just leaving it with 24 episodes? Bruh. I love this show and so does my cousin/sister. The show's episodes all ended with "thing" and damn those were good things. This show was sooo good why did it get cancelled??

This is excellent it's one of those rare good sitcoms i need a season 2 right now because this show is hilarious and amazing did i forget entertaining it's not like the awful thundermans or horrible henry danger it's a good show like one of those rare good shows good luck to the thundermans and henry danger appealing to idiots ha those shows get renewed and they're horrible 100 things to do before high school needs a season 2 right now because i am dying to know when it will get renewed please nickelodeon it's one of your only good shows left it has to have a 2nd season please i am begging you and if you cancel it cancel henry danger game shakers the thundermans school of rock make it pop nicky ricky dicky and dawn and that's it do you want loose those shows of course not because for some reason you want them so give it a second season

100 Things to do before high school was a TV show that aired on nickelodeon. but it was then cancelled after just 25 episodes even though the show had so many fans world wide. even after all these years still there are so many people out there waiting for a second season of their beloved TV show. since they all loved to be in 8th grade why not start the show with a whole new frame for another season!

Poor man's "Ned survival guide". Same premise, same-ish characters, same dynamics. Only everything feels flat, main cast has no chemistry or relationship growth, school feels empty and more of a set than a school. Everything seems made with less effort and heart and it's just a half cooked version of Ned's doing mostly same things but worse. Scott my boy, even re-used some of the same plot lines. The show even got the same sound effects that add nothing this time around, way less gags and jokes and nobody learns nothing or improves. And main characters are more annoying, the teachers are a joke. No wonder it only got 25 episodes in total. Weak sauce / 10, just watch the older one, it has more style and loce put in it.
