What a great dance fusion of different cultures in typical Hollywood
stylish-muneeb9 August 2015
I saw this film a while back at Anthology Film Archives on it's first screening. The film's listing was posted on Anthology Film's website.

It's an incredible film -- I agree it's not a traditional story or plot but it has something big studios will try make it into a feature film.

This was a student film and this director make it look like a Hollywood big film! Hats Off!

The story starts with a traditional style of heart broken snubbed a chatter-box girl who helps him to find is destiny in a very unique way!

I wish luck to this film!

I would love to see We Just Met with a big cast and crew some day!

an unpredictable film throughout with some great surprises.

I really LOVED this movie!!! It was SO cute! :D but i'm kinda new to this style of film and now am totally experiencing withdraw since I don't know where to get more comedy and romantic short films.

This is an interesting short romantic and funny movie from Muneeb Hassan. Muneeb is going on in his improvement to produce every time a better movie. And it should inspire all the directors of his genre. The scenes have been mostly shot at outdoor spots like Central Park, Columbus Circle, Washington Square Park and Bow Bridge, and this entertains us as if we are experiencing ourselves a real tour of New York from this crazy girl Stella who dances too. Watching studio scenes made me fed up and my brains. And thats why it's a nice pick up as a short student film.

Although the storyline is not that new with the old movies as a boy meets girl and slowly fall in love but the way Muneeb presented each and every scenes are worth to watch. From the beginning to the end I personally enjoyed the whole film. Great music by Katrina and the waves.

Dan Adams (Liam) was amazing and his acting is just so phenomenal, totally a Hollywood material. Natasha Perkins (Stella) was amazing throughout! Great dancer and very BEAUTIFUL! I have been following her on IG.

In short it was an unpredictable film throughout with some great surprises.

I wonder how Irish people have perceived this

I recently watched this short film on demand. For the first time and I have to admit it was quite a film.

It looked good and I loved the shots of the New York City. The acting was fine. I did feel like the story was a little loose - I did understand what he was doing off the beaten path in Central Park, he was lost and as a foreigner, I can completely relate to this character. The dance sequence was cool.

While I loved all the performances and have to say it was very well made I have to say that the story line was very little appealing to me.

I think it might be because I am not American and therefore have no connection to the sort of crazy unhappy life of an American, which I can now seat from the eyes of Stella.

I wonder how Irish people have perceived this and if Americans believe this - this can be a feature film with better plot.

Simply cute!

The movie starts with same old Hollywood style breakup. But yet,first-time director Muneeb Hassan does an excellent job in making this short movie a delightful one.

The music is soothing - Very beautiful with some great bands in it! The Bollywood dance and Irish step-dance is quite beautiful! The cinematography is top-notch - Jon Carr is amazing! I got a chance to work with him when I was in NYC. The dialogs are well- worded The screenplay is water-tight.

I thought this was very cute short. It was just the perfect length, had the just right acting, superb dance number just the right storytelling to get the whole sense of story. It was a message about imperfection, fate ( or chance, luck for some) family and above all, HOPE, NEW BEGINNINGS, SACRIFICE, FORGIVENESS Loved it, loved it, loved it.
