Inanimate insanity is a real interesting show with some serious drawbacks.
Season 1 of this show is awful, don't bother.
Season 2 starts awful too. It brings us a rich world of terrible jokes and annoying characters (particularly lightbulb, cheesy, and yin yang). What makes the already terrible jokes even worse is you have a jester (Cheesy) who keeps explaining the freaking jokes! Just stop! That's a horrible way of doing comedy!
Second half of season 2, we get an interesting new look at the show. Don't get me wrong, the comedy is still terrible ("ANYONE GOT A GIANT LADDER?" What kind of stupid line is that?), but the show actually gets introspective and tries to be deep, it's actually kind of fun to watch, unlike previous episodes. It's still pretty pretentious but I don't actually think that's a bad quality unlike other people.
Season 3 carries this whole show. It's actually funny at points, the animation game is on point, and the writing is just plain good.
How I'd rate each season:
Season 1: 2/10
Season 2, first half: 3/10, maybe 4/10 if I'm feeling generous.
Season 2, second half: 6/10 (edit: nevermind, it's a 7/10)
Season 3: 7/10
VERDICT: 6/10, It's decent. (Edit: I've changed my mind, this is a 7)
