The camera operator was injured during the tribal attack scene, shooting was delayed, but the operator continued nearly 10 minutes after the accident. He suffered from a large gash down his entire back.
A real elephant was used for the poaching scene. No animals were harmed in the making.
The entire wardrobe from the production was collected from various resale shops. The tribal attire was all hand-crafted by the film's director, Jonathan D'Ambrosio.
