Sex & Nudity

  • None; all the characters are animals.

Violence & Gore

  • There is some conflict between various characters, but no serious injuries are sustained. The fact of animals killing and eating each other is touched upon, but either takes place offscreen or is shown being thwarted by the Lion Guard.

Profanity

  • Minor name calling (Fur-Brains)
  • Flatulence and fecal matter are mentioned in dialogue in some episodes, though in the case of the latter it is either played humorously or as a feature of nature, i.e. dung beetles feature in one episode.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the episode "Long Live the Queen", Queen Janna dies. Very sad that it can upset young children.
  • Some action sequences might be upsetting to younger viewers, with characters coming into peril; this is usually short-lived. The episode "Rise of Makuu" features a battle for dominance between two crocodiles that is somewhat intense, but does not result in serious injury to either.
