Sex & Nudity

  • Clara's clothing shows minor cleavage.
  • A performer dresses in a slightly provocative manner, and sways about, almost seductively.

  • The Foretold kills multiple people by touching them. These people writhe about, terrified, before being struck down dead by said creature. There is no blood shown whatsoever.
  • The Foretold is gory and rotting, and bones and flesh hang from it.
  • A man fires a revolver at the Foretold, to absolutely no effect. Surroundings are damaged.
  • GUS opens an airlock and an entire block of kitchen staff is flung into space. Their frozen bodies are visible.

  • Alcohol is consumed on the Orient Express.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Foretold can be scary, playing on old horror movies by Hammer and Universal. It happens to be based on their versions of "The Mummy", and therefore it has a rotted and gory appearance brought on by the Hammer incarnation.
  • GUS has a sadistic and cruel nature which can easily be found offensive, upsetting or scary.

  • The Orient Express is blown up, but it is implied that everybody survives. It is never truly revealed.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • At the end it is never quite revealed whether or not the Doctor rescued everybody on the Orient Express. Perkins has been rescued, but it is never revealed about anybody else.
