Zorawar Review

Excellent Movie. Parul Gulati & Honey Singh chemistry rocks. Music is outstanding.

Will recommend everyone to see the movie. The movie is all about the excellent star cast, awesome background music. The scenes captured from South Africa are well crafted in the movie.

Mukul Dev & Pawan Ji has done a tremendous job. They have given the best ever performance and has justified their role.

Fantastic to see honey singh as an actor, he surely rules everyone's heart. Presence of Achint Kaur and Amit Behl gives a strong flavor to the movie. It was nice to see a fantastic acting from VJ Bani as well. It is an outstanding movie. Must watch it.

Warning: Spoilers
A modern adaptation of Rustom & Sohrab (which I loved when I was younger). My only grouse is that the actor playing Sohrab just doesn't cut it. His body language and facial expressions don't match up to what his character is supposed to be. No complaints with Rustom. Decent acting from all the supporting cast.

Rustom = Samarjeet Singh (Mukul Dev), the hero's biological father; Sohrab = Zorawar / Zoro (Hirdesh Singh aka Yo Yo Honey Singh)... the titular hero; Achint Kaur plays Sheetal (Tahmina from Rustom/Sohrab story).

One teeny tiny detail they switched - the son manages to stab the father. In the original Rustom & Sohrab, Rustom cheats and slips in a poisoned dagger into this son (he doesn't know he's his son), and as he lies dying, his bajuband (the jewel he gave Tahmina for his offspring to wear) is revealed, and Rustom is agonized. Here, both fight 'fair', and the son stabs his father, but (miraculously) he survives and gets up to fight. I'm actually not complaining. I loved the sappy ending!!

Oh, and the mother doesn't pass along the jewel to her son... she just keeps it for herself (she wasn't asked to pass it along), but she could've... oh well... some versions of Rustom&Sohrab have Tahmina running to the fight and revealing all after the stabbing, and that's what they went with.
