Greetings from Lithuania.
The latest episode of "Rectify" "The Great Destroyer" confirmed what i had in my mind when i was watching previous series - this has to be the most saddest TV show from those I've ever seen. You can feel the sadness in almost every scene. It is written all over it. From the main plot, to the writing, to the haunting music and editing sadness it always here. The characters of this show (more like real people then characters actually) are living in this world filled with sadness, struggling to find some hope. The spiritual themes are also always there, but they are also filled with sadness.
Overall, by only two episodes left in this great season 2, i can't wait to see them both. I have no idea how it will all turn our, but i won't be surprised to say the least if there will be no sunset with everyone happy at the end, but it will be sad.
