Longmire – Miss Cheyenne – Another Masterpiece
PartialMovieViewer30 June 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Well Walt is at it again…another one those pesky murders need investigating. Absaroka County is piling up with corpses – and the only people who can solve these are Walt and his team. This time it's a doctor on the reservation providing aid to the Native Americans. Sounds ominous? It is, and full of all sorts of twists. On top of all that Henry is having his legal problems; Branch is all still broke up and Vic is still dealing with her stalker – what is a sheriff to do? To top all that – who killed Walt's wife? These are all questions needing answers. I like how all the stories intertwine and how they are skillfully interjected into the show. The writing is excellent, the directing superb and the cast is likable. Even Walt's nemeses, Jacob Nighthorse and Mathias are not bad…they just don't play Walt's game. Good for them...they tether Longmire and keep his impulses under control. This show has excellent structure, it's plot are always interesting, and the writing is downright superb. If there is a secondary message (which normally I cannot stand) there is a good reason for being there and it can be supported through research. Nothing self-serving, just need-to-know stuff. Good job…keep up the good work. This show is number one with me…although that might not be the moniker one would want to claim.

An Unpaid Debt
Hitchcoc19 December 2018
This starts out with Walt being asked by Henry (who is in jail awaiting trial) to judge the Miss Cheyenne contest. This is a very big deal to these people. During that time Vic tells Walt that there has been a murder. A doctor has been found, stabbed, and there seems to be no explanation. This episode concerns sifting through details and some real insight by Walt. Meanwhile, Cady takes over Henry's defense since only bottom feeders will look into it The judge is also resistant to letting him out on bail. Things are moving forward well here.
