Not that funny, trying too hard, not for kids

Don't watch with kids if you are expecting the PG RomanAtwoodVlogs. Don't watch with kids if you are expecting the PG-13ish Roman Atwood Prank channel (which is way more funny than the stuff in this forced "movie".

It is overly sexual and confrontation right from the start. Roman might want to think what he wants his target audience to be.

But aside from cringing the whole time while watching this with a kid who shouldn't have been watching it, it's really just not that funny. It's a bunch of chaotic scenes, most of which don't seem real and seem way too manufactured.

It's no Jackass, not even close.

Put simply, the movie does what it's meant to do. It reaches out to fans and gives them something to cheer about. If you are a fan of Roman, Vitaly and Dennis, you will have a good time watching this movie. Parts of it are fun and a few of the reactions are obviously real. This movie is basically a Hollywood level extension of their prank channels. Think of it as a mix of the TV show Scare Tactics and Jackass. Nothing special, just the three pranksters taking things up a notch (within legal limits the studio would allow).

Where it falls short is that this has all been done before. Many of the pranks are inspired by Jackass so there is nothing special here. Unfortunately, this movie will not have broad appeal except for die hard fans. Anyone who watches this movie going in with no pre-conception of their prank channels, will get bored, nevertheless, the movie is still fun in it's own way. For the average person however, I would tell them to pass on it. There are better movies out there.

Extended cuts of some youtube videos

I was not hyped for this movie, so no big expectations or anything. I'm familiar with all these youtubers, and have seen quite a few of their pranks on youtube. The premise of this movie is promising, you would imagine Jackass with only pranks, however the reality is not what you would expect.

The major issue is that most of these pranks are already shown on youtube, thus making a majority of the movie a rewatch. Furthermore, without counting, it feels like these 90 minutes only contain about 10-15 pranks.

In short the movie feels like extended cuts of some youtube videos merged together.

Let me start off by saying that I used to be a big fan of these three pranksters and for two years now, I was looking forward to see their transition to the big screen. However, after watching this movie, I do not want to hear the names Vitaly, Roman and Dennis again...

This so called "movie" makes you appreciate the effort that goes into making actual movies! I do not want to waste my time writing a review for this "movie" because the actors, producers, directors put ZERO effort in making something memorable and respectful. All the people that took part in this "movie" should feel ashamed because all the scenes are out of place, there is no transition into new scenes, there is too much cursing, shame and dirtiness.

Please do not watch and please do not give $12.99 to buy this movie!

Stay on youtube, way better!

OK, the first thing to be said is stay on YOUTUBE! I'm a big fan of vitaly's pranks and some of roman's. The youtube pranks are waaaaaaaaay better than this crap! This is really a bad attempt of copying jackass! I mean jackass trilogy i can watch it over and over and over again and i can't get bored or not laugh and i wish they could make a new one. This movie on the other hand, 0% funny, i barley smiled! 20% percent pranks. They're supposed to be "professional pranksters", what i saw as if they are trying so hard to get people's attention just like they did on youtube. Bad filming, bad editing, worst ending ever!

Again STAY ON YOUTUBE!! So disappointed!

License to be funny saved for a later date

Few smiles early on, and then yawn for the rest... if you're going to be that annoying... grow an imagination at least.

To make this kind of movie it's gotta be funny to the majority, not just those with a limited IQ.

All of the pranks are clearly fake. This is worse then what they do on Youtube.

Bad acting. It's like they didn't even put effort into this movie. Apparently they spent $1million on this movie. Should have kept it.

Obviously movies are going to be acted out. But this should of been like Bad Grandpa, where it was all real. Or that at least looked real.

It even had a story.

Genuinely a waste of money. No story line, fake when it shouldn't be and all in all it is a crappy movie made by crappy Youtubers.

You shouldn't even think about buying this. I actually feel quite upset that I won't get the time back I wasted watching this god awful film.

In the trailer for this film they even put a prank in that wasn't theirs. This film had no credibility from the beginning.

This garbage isn't even YouYube red material.

Let me start off by saying that this is one of the worst and most poorly constructed movie I have ever seen in my life. You can tell the pranks are obviously fake if you have even 2 brain cells. I mean come on, these guys fake their pranks on YouTube and many of them have been exposed in the past year. To all the 12 year old's that may be reading this, trust me they aren't going to do real pranks for their "Hollywood" movie. Throughout the movie they throw in random clips from their pranks on YouTube as transitions I guess, but really it just confused me and made me see the lack of effort that went into this movie. Also the way they shot it isn't movie material, it really just looked like a crappy prank T.V show that got discontinued after a season. Terrible movie, terrible editing, and mediocre acting on the "victims" part. The biggest question I have and i'm sure many of you will ask after you watch the movie is how did it take 2 years to film this hunk of s**t?

They really missed a big opportunity in making a cool movie .

As a big fan of Roman, Vitaly, Dennis, this movie was a huge disappointment.The whole movie to me fell flat on it's face and every scene was rushed and out of place. The scenes were pointless and made me think that this movie was a prank for it's viewers. I sure fell for this prank when I watched this dreadful 90 min movie. Overall, this film deserves it's rating of 1 star because it felt incomplete and lacked fan service they promised. I was hyped for this movie once it was announced, but just like Batman V. Superman, it slumped. The basic story of Expectation Vs. Realty. Sadly, another movie wasted with a lot of filler ins to waste people's time with nothing new brought to the table. Please don't see this travesty.

I've been following Vitaly and the crew for about 3 years now. Loyal and on going fan. I have to say that after watching this movie, I'm not longer a follower. Most of the pranks from the movie are fake. And for the past year or so, most of vitals's pranks on his channel are fake. They have a very high number of followers, so for them it's easier to make a fake prank and get views and then collect their $$$. I think these guys are sell outs. Now that they are rich from us loyal followers they start making crappy material to watch and keep making more and more of this crap that is over rated and no one really cares about. The first prank from the movie was so sad and scripted. It was hard to watch, I gave this movie a 6 just because I watched it all. I thought it would get better, I have to give them the credit for making a movie and making it in the prank world. But I am not wasting anymore of my time watching their pranks every again, let me correct myself, watching their "FAKE" pranks!!!

Not For Kids Or Adults

I am a big fan of Roman Atwood, but a little ashamed of how he represents himself in this movie. Roman has vlogs that I have recommended to all my friends and let them know that he represents all the positives in this world of current chaos. His vlogs are clean, for children of all ages, and inspire our youth to follow their dreams. This movie however, from the very start was too much for anyone under 18 to see. The "pranks" have sex toys and even a man defecating on a canvas board to sell "art". It makes me wonder if Roman Atwood is really the person we see on his vlogs. Even as an adult, I really did not laugh. It was a cheap version of "Jackass" and even had one of the prankster from the jackass crew on the movie. Overall it was pretty boring and over-hyped. I think the prank is on the people like myself who actually watch this.....

I think that this movie deserves more than i think people will give it.. I mean come on. This is their first time on screen. I like the pranks, could have done better, but hey this movie is just to make you laugh. There were a few things that they could have excluded. And maybe added a bit more original stuff in. But in the end this movie is for people who just want to relax, chug a beer, and have some fun. It did seem a bit fake... But i still loved. If you have seen any of Roman Atwoods and/or Vitalys and Dennises youtube vids, then you will be a fan. If you liked Jack Ass... This is for you. If you just want to laugh at the poor people that are getting pranked.. This is for you.

Just several Youtube Pranks put into a movie!

What I enjoyed about the movie was the fact that I've been watching these pranksters on YouTube for years now, and finally get to watch them on the big screens. They do come up with some pretty funny pranks however others are not so funny and I don't think there's enough consistency throughout the whole film.

I feel like they had a massive opportunity to make this work but unfortunately didn't use it to the best of their abilities. They also tried to copy the whole Jackass theme of movie which didn't always work for me. One of the biggest problems I had with the movie was the lack of care and structure. So many times there would be a random clip inserted into the movie which had no relevance and just didn't make sense to me (Felt like it was rushed).

However, if you like watching pranks and especially the cast from YouTube it may be something to cheer you up on a rainy day as all three of them seem to be great guys.

Very horrendous film

It's so dull and slow, not to mention that Vitalyzdtv revealed whilst he was drunk on his birthday that over 70% of the pranks in the film was fake. If you want to see theater then sure this film is for you, but if you want real hardcore entertainment with a risk factor attached to it - then this isn't for you (and it isn't for me - it was a waste of my time quite frankly). The film sees Vitaly do a lot of sexual pranks, but really it seems to be an ego-boosting session and I have no clue why they did it. I feel sorry for the production company because I have no clue how they'll make any money from this film. Sorry. Youtuber's films never go well.

I like their youtube pranks, fake or not - I don't know, but some of them were quite fun to watch. Having seen Bad Grandpa, I was expecting at least a loose storyline in this movie. But there is none! It seems like they didn't even put any effort to make it like a movie aside from the pranks. And the hype they give for this "movie" on their channels is just ridiculous.

The pranks were just OK. But this is not even a movie! I don't know what the **** went through all of their minds making this a "movie". It's just a compilation of some pranks with some behind the scenes. It doesn't deserve to be played on a movie theater.

I hear they are planning on making a second part. It better have some story in it with the pranks.

Since there are not enough lines to submit this review I have to add few lines. So, by adding lines I feel more like those "Natural Born Pranksters" who are more like low talented individuals who made a good living of low minded subscribers.

Started out with a prank when they put on a fake stick that goes up using some type of tech and it was suppose to be a fake D**K and they call a message guy/girl and they act like they are getting turned on while they are raising that stick up slowly and it's supposed to be a Bonner first try was O-K second that's where the definition of Pure Fake came up. vitally puts on the stick and a man like 63 years old comes to message him, the man straight takes of his shirt, Holy Crap! the man does not mind it when vitally is getting hard, then vitally starts asking if he ever been in a sexual relationship with another man, old man says no vitally say u can take off ur pants if u want, the man does it straight and he is wearing a female panty? like really bro???? can't be more fake than that! that's just one fake prank out of plenty! not gonna spoil it for the fans that does not accept the fact that these 3 fake pranks! if anyone reading my review find a way to watch it for free because it's not worth buying, i watched it for free still feel like i got robbed!

I am a huge fan of all three of the main cast members in this film but I must say, this movie was such a huge disappointment on so many levels. First, and the biggest reason, is that it is blatantly scripted and the ones that are being "pranked" are in on it. Take the very first scene for instance, with Vitaly and the old man doing the massage. The old man happens to have a blue revealing speedo underneath his pants, these shenanigans are what you can expect throughout the entirety of the film. With the following that Roman, Dennis and Vitaly have, I thought this film would have been hit out of the park, but for me, it was a complete strikeout.

The movie is not worth it, its completely overpriced for that garbage the pranks were not even that good and they just used Youtube pranks in their movie. It was a complete waste of time..and the movie had no absolute story line whatsoever..its was basically a bunch of pranks put together, it was more like a compilation of pranks than a movie. Im sorry, but this was the worst over-hyped movie i have ever seen I do not recommend this movie at all...I understand it was a low budget but still..and the pranks were awfully thought out. The ending of the movie is the worst ending I have ever seen. And its completely R-rated so if you are young i do not recommend this..instead just go and watch Star wars it would be wroth your money. Just a complete garbage over-hyped movie

Why did these fake prank channels on Youtube get a movie? Seriously, that stuff isn't funny on the internet, so it's safe to say it'd be terrible outside the internet.

I can imagine when they were coming up with the idea of doing a movie they probably thought they could be the next Jackass or the next Borat.

They were mistaken.

I got dragged into seeing this garbage, and now someone owes me a massive favor.

Don't bother with this movie. It's a waste of time, it's a waste of money, and it makes you take a hit in your pride because you are just so ashamed walking out of the theater and you see people you know noticing what movie you are walking out of.

The pranks aren't funny. One of the guys admitted they were fake. The only people who will enjoy this are kids who don't know better. Or stoners.

amateur movie

There were a few good parts about the movie, most of the skits were out-takes in comparison to jackass but there was some good content.

the segment with Dave England was pretty funny & the driver. All in all worth a watch.

don't over hype it, but don't under hype it, promising start. the content isn't all new, some of it you can find in their videos on YouTube.

I did enjoy it, to re illiterate it is a good start to the sequel if they want a sequel.

If you like their videos on YouTube, you'll like this. It's slightly better than their YouTube videos to sum this up.

I do not recommend watching this movie.

I'd say 80% of the pranks are fake just for the reason that the pranks on their you tube channel are too.

Theprankreviewer on you tube shows proof of how they hire actors to get a sick reaction and fool the 13 year old kids.

This movie is total rip off Jackass the movie.

At least with Jackass, the pranks were real.

THE QUALITY WAS GREAT. IT WAS AN AWESOME MOVIE. The only thing that I am mad about is that 80% of it was fake. Some of the actors were not doing a good job either. The main cast was great. A lot of good people showed up in the movie. They did so many funny pranks. I cannot believe how funny it was. Dave England literally pooped on a board of paper. They were actually puking. It was disgusting, I could not watch that, I just turned away until the scene was over. They made a lot of interesting pranks. I could not believe how creative they were. The movie turned out GREAT! It was an awesome experience to see my 3 favorite YouTubers on the big screen. Thank you lionsgate for making this movie with Roman, Dennis, and Vitaly. It was an awesome movie. I hope to see NBP 2

Okay but not great

So everyone here loves Roman Atwood and a prank movie is very hard to masters this was okay but could do with restructuring but it's worth a watch not at 9.99 the best part of the movie was the blonde shaking her bum so go watch it for that reason but in all fairness they have tried really hard and the movie does have some really good parts and some that makes you think why but what movie doesn't Just watch it once so you can figure out it yourself as its still okay if your a fan of these people but if not then it will be terrible to you and that's honest and Roman clogs makes this film look cheap as he can make much better content on he's own and he knows it

this movie was a huge failure. all the pranks were done on person, for example the one with the girl in the porta potty that was hit only done on her and they transition to the next prank with a segment from their youtube channel videos. Most of the pranks are fake and or already exist on youtube for example they did a prank where roman and vitaly steal gas, you can see on youtube, and similarly to the one on youtube a big tries to beat them up. Another prank you can see on youtube is Dmpranks: robbing a store prank. Exact same thing, not saying they copied because they made the movie earlier than they did, but still. The part in the trailer where the girl is twerking is stupidest part ever because basically this is what happens; roman is rapper shooting a music video and they hire all those girls to be in the video, but one girl in hottub sh*t her pants and water turns brown, and so basically the prank was on the other girls they hired to be in the video, which makes me think if they can hire her to fake sh*tting her pants what stops me from believing that everyone else isn't on it.
