- We open with Franklin waking up in bed. He looks over and sees Bash's mother Colleen putting on her clothes. He begins to panic. It sounds like she wanted to use her surrogate talents to help him move past Swatello.
At breakfast Franklin tells Bash he was with Swatello. The owner Tara complains because they only got a C in their latest health inspection. One of the diner's biggest competitors, Frank's Red Hots, got a B and she doesn't understand how. They offer to represent the diner for free food.
The guys have a surprise welcome home party for Pindar, who promptly throws up when he sees everybody. He tells the guys he's getting married to Bridgette, a woman from Belgium he's been sending money and hasn't yet met in person. The picture he has of her is actually of Carmen Electra.
Franklin asks Mundy to look into Bridgette.
The guys meet with the diner owners, who tell them the owner of Frank's is friends with Hank, the health inspector who gave our their grades. They all say they've been approached by Eckhart Smits, the owner of a chain of burger joints, about selling.
The guys stop by and see Hank. This reminds him that he found cockroaches on a follow-up inspection and now plans to close the diner. The guys have made things much worse.
The day the diner closes Eckhart drops by and reminds Tara of his offer to buy them out. We learn the guys have some history with Eckhart.
A cockroach Mundy found in the diner is native to Thailand, meaning it was planted there.
In court Franklin is so startled when Colleen walks in that he drops a jar of cockroaches. The judge wants an independent investigator to confirm what Mundy found before he'll open up the diner.
Franklin talks to Infeld about what happened with Colleen. Infeld thinks he needs to tell Bash. Infeld says if Franklin doesn't tell Bash, he'll do it for him.
Mundy tells Bash he's traced the cockroaches back to the diner itself. Pindar's girlfriend arrives the following day. Mundy also tells Bash that Swatello's been out of town for a week, which means Franklin lied about sleeping with her the other night. This leads to Bash finding out about Franklin and Colleen. All Bash says is "treat her right." Bash doesn't seem bothered by it so long as it wasn't a one-night stand. Karp, who is back for his first day, walks in just in time to hear this.
The guys tell the diner owners about the invoice being traced back to them. Tara admits that she paid for them in an attempt to kill the family business. She's upset that since her mother died it hasn't been the same. She's wanted help from her brother, whose only been involved financially. They then tell the guys they've agreed to sell to Eckhart. He's promised not to change the diner, but the guys look through the contract and find a clause that if it doesn't turn a 40 percent profit over the first three months Eckhart will be able to repurpose the location. They can't pull out of the sale without paying $50,000.
Bash invites Colleen over for dinner, with the idea it'll be a "nice romantic meal." Bash is watching Franklin and his mother's interactions carefully and Colleen says she realizes Bash knows what happened. She tells Bash she did it to help Franklin get over Swatello but doesn't want to hurt her son.
The next day Bash is called into Infeld's office. Infeld is worried about the fact Bash seems perfectly fine with what happened with Franklin and Colleen.
Pindar tells Franklin that his girlfriend has been delayed for various reasons. Franklin is still convinced she's not real.
The guys argue in front of a landmark commission that the age of the diner's car makes it of cultural and historical significance. During the proceedings Bash loses it and starts freaking out over Franklin and Colleen. The guys have it out and Franklin apologizes yet again. They turn it into a point about Eckhart's contract with the diner. The commission votes to make the diner a historical landmark, meaning it cannot be torn down.
Pindar's girlfriend shows up at the guys part that night. She is real and looks exactly like her pictures. Just then two INS agents walk in looking for Pindar's girlfriend, having been tipped off by the guys. Mundy takes the agents aside and somehow gets them to leave. The guys realize this means that Pindar is really getting married and therefore really leaving.
The episode ends with the guys back at the diner, now unable to get a seat because the place is so packed.
