The saw-esque premise is enough to hook you, but the terrible writing and even worse acting so it no justice. Some of the lines in this are laughable, unintentionally, and the philosophical aspect is really self indulgent, but not as deep as they seem to think it is. It goes to some weird places but it's an overall bad movie.
Never have I wanted a character to die as quickly as this movie

The girl that had the gun had me wanting a T-92 tank to run her over in the first 10 minutes. Somebody from the government needs to look into who made this garbage, because this was a tax write-off or money laundering.

I wish there had been the 3 low star reviews before I watched this, at the time I'd read only 1 pro critic review who thought it was OK and he must have been paid to write that because this film is garbage and I'll include spoilers to tell you why. The movie begins on the premise that some evil but attractive bad actress doctor is holding 6 strangers (all bad actors themselves) in some warehouse-looking room and somewhere else is holding a loved one of each of these strangers, that will be killed unless they kill someone in the room. Each is suppose to be given 15 minutes. The movie then proceeds to stick to none of this. 6 people, only 5 weapons. One weapon is a fake, why ? The clock bit is completely abandoned, first saying 15 minutes, sometimes 5 minutes , sometimes 10, for no reason. 99% of the action takes place with the lights off, so all the audience hears are bad unconvincing sound effects. The lights go off onscreen and when they come on for some reason someone will have someone else's weapon. The entire film is so poorly acted and constructed and worse of all it makes no sense. The six actors stand around each saying their lines and none of it is realistic. There is no talking over each other, no excitement and the dialogue is completely lame. It's like each actor is waiting to say their line so the next one can say theirs. There is almost no gore. If you want to see 6 actors watching their careers go nowhere, this is the film for you.

Yasmine Irvine is one of the worst actresses I've seen in a long time. Constantly shrill and at a 10 with no build up, I was just waiting for her character to die. Terrible choice for the lead!
Other than that (which ruined the movie quick), the other actors were bearable, sound and set were good, and ending was very good.
The race baiting was, as usual, unnecessary.

I'm not exaggerating. I never say a movie is the worst I've ever seen. I'll say it sucked or I hated it..but this is different..I'm actually more confused or, I guess, surprised that a studio released it..not just because it's bad..bad horror movies get released all the time. This was different, though. The director and writers, quite literally, accidentally messed up/forgot their own plot. If you want to know what I'm talking about reviewers, read the reviewers who have marked their reviews as spoilers. It's too much stuff to list. But yea, I've never seen anything like it.

It wasn't very good. Acting was awful. Plot holes were massive. Another movie that tries to be realistic but is the exact opposite and silly. The whole concept is poor and poorly executed. One upside is that it is not long.

This isn't the worst movie, but pretty bad and stupid. The acting was ok for a low budget movie. The story didn't make sense because the last woman killed but wasn't set free as the doctor lady said they would be freed. But the worst was the ending where the last woman was sent to another room with other people to start the experiment again? But I would tell everyone that I just killed and was not freed so it doesn't matter what you do, you will be screwed.

The 10 star reviews are from the makers of the movie. Incoherent yelling, no gore, no character development. Some characters accents fading in and out. Fake over the top crying, identical death scenarios for all loved ones. Audio production errors where some characters you can hear they used audio filters to cancel out noise in the background (but only for some scenes)
I will watch nearly anything and give it a fair shot. This film must have had an alterior motive to being made. Maybe a bet? Because it surely wasn't about the story, the actors, or the dialogue. The poster is pretty sweet.
I've seen at least 2,000 horror films from the moldy oldies to modern day ghost, Sci fi, B horror, and what the general public usually likes so my movie bar is set LOW.
The dialogue seemed like it came from a high school acting class. Probably one of the worst films I've seen in a decade. Watch it if you want to be frustrated and share it with your friends if you want them to never recommend a film to them again.

I created an IMDB account just so I could give this movie 1 star. The story line has more holes than Jesus. The characters are one dimensional, yet some how contradict themselves as time goes on. The gore is sponsored by Spirit Halloween and the special FX make-up course at your local community college. I am generally a fan of low budget horror movies, but this is truly next level awful. The only aspect of horror is how painful it is to watch, complete with a half hearted attempt at a twist ending. Sometimes movies can be so bad they're almost good - This is definitely not one of them. You should recommend this movie to anyone you don't like very much.

The plot is relatively good. In fact, I can't say that I did not enjoy the film. It was, however, predictable. The film falls victim to the same pitfalls as "House of 9," and "The Belko Experiment." It is a good film in that vein.
Dr. Kasuma's character is manifestly sociopathic. You can tell that she is lying, the only question is how much. Her game is openly sadistic, however, and it's left ambiguous on what happens outside that room.
Ultimately, however, this otherwise good plot falls victim to a few tropes that, on their own, are excellent, but are misused here. Without spoiling the plotline, one begins to wonder if Kasuma is actually intending to keep her word, what lies on the other side of the door, and what really happens to the family members.
Without spoiling the ending too much, the film suffers from an overdose of good tropes: Lights off, Somebody Dies; Real Time; Race Against the Clock; and a few others. Ultimately, though, these tropes don't save the movie. They poison it like the gas that kills.
The ending does a good job of setting up a sort of schadenfreude, even incorporating some comedic elements in the last few seconds.
However, the film wastes its character development by killing the more interesting characters first, it kills the mystery of the lights going out by having it known in advance who, if any, will be the killer, etc. The results of the experiment: that if you make a movie with under-developed characters, and have too much narm, and spare the gore, you lose all the benefits of Saw, House of 9, and the other movies that you try to emulate.

I rarely rate 1's but this one is TRASH TRASH TRASH. I don't even know where to begin so I won't. A 1 says it all.
However, the actress, if I can even call her that, who played Alice was the worst ever. A few of them were horrible but some decent enough but she was god awful. I didn't look to see if she was maybe one of the writers or producers because why else would she have gotten the LEAD role?
The story has a cool concept/storyline but the budget was really low. I'm ok with that because I'm a sucker for z-list movies but this one I honestly can't even put it in that category. I'm gonna have to give this a -Z not even a b minus but literally the lowest you can go at z minus.
Lastly, these 10 ratings are laughable, I mean I read a few and was laughing so hard. One said they deserve an Oscar. Another said something about the budget being under 1 mill and if so these guys did a good job. Uuuum why the cap when you were in some way shape or form a part of its production because no one outside of this movie gave it anything more than a 3.

My first thought was, "why would people do this to themselves appearing in a film like this?"
The plot is simple because it's been done a million times (this Escape/Survival genre is a growing favorite and I appreciate the effort of every film). Not everyone can be a Hollywood film with a cinematic release (and even some of those films are garbage) but some contributors to this had no business doing this. There was some good eye candy in here for me as a straight woman. So that helps and might even be a tactic to keep viewers watching. I think the main issue is the director/budget/experience of the crew or lack thereof who had no business doing a movie type that they cannot afford, rather than the talent of the actors.
Except Gun Girl. Her acting/accent was something I have honestly never witnessed before. I really don't want to insult her but she should've just used the gun on herself. LOL that was mean, I'm just joking...
These people need to get practice directing/writing/acting/editing in short films and theater plays, I think, before they do feature length films that require a decent budget regardless of the simplicity of the plot and the freshness of the cast.

Outstanding script and smooth story telling. Shots were amazing. The thing that I am concern here is that, How much was the budget for this movie?
If this movie was above M $ then I could say, this is just another standart Hollywood indie movie. But, if it is not then these fellas did a good job.
