One line can ruin an episode

"You're better than that."

IF YOU'RE BREATHING YOU'RE BETTER THAN THAT!

Abby is supposed to be the compassionate humanitarian character, and *she* implies that *any* person living homeless deserves their fate?

That right there is what is wrong with America: the belief that it is possible for some humans to deserve not even having a roof and sanitary conditions to live in.

I find NCIS hard to take at the best of times--the toxic masculinity, the continual belief that the ends justify the means, the assumption that America and its military are always Right (capital letter!)--but that really showed how bad the producers are. That they would have Abby say those words, espouse that clueless belief. . . .

And this is the series that lasts forever on CBS. . . .

YEESH!
