Bumpy directed Bank Chor is continuing to be very low at the Box Office. Is there anything left for Riteish Deshmukh to steal after stealing movie posters, movie trailers and interviews of his fellow actors? It turns out that the Bank Chor lead actor was waiting to unveil his last big chori at the very end – Riteish has managed to steal from Yrf’s iconic trilogy, Dhoom!
In the last song of the film, Jai Baba Bank Chor, Riteish can be seen dancing along with Dhoom stars Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra inside the actual footage from the Dhoom series. Coincidentally, managing to pull off this miraculous feat is also the reason behind the title of the song: Jai Baba Bank Chor indeed!
With Jai Baba Bank Chor, the completely mental marketing campaign of Bank Chor peaks with the ‘chori ka gaana’ showing that the Bank Chors can perhaps steal everything, but suck at doing it too well.

Past wounds are apparently resting safe in the past, especially when it comes to Vivek Oberoi's long lost feud with Sallu Bhai! Returning to the big screen with Bank Chor, the actor who was present at the press conference for the movie, kind of took a sly dig at the Tubelight actor, roasting him when he had the opportunity! Beginning the press conference, Vivek said: "Last time jab maine press conference bulayi thi, tab meri tashreef lag gayi thi… Those who didn’t get this, I would say you all are a Tubelight." For those in the blue, Vivek and Salman were involved in an alleged fight over ladylove Aishwarya Rai. At the time, addressing his concerns through a press conference, Vivek alleged that Salman issued threat calls to him. Ouch! Well, we guess the issue is done and dusted now? At least, from Vivek's side!

The Bank Chor trailer had many unsurprising elements to it – Riteish Deshmukh doing a comedy again, Vivek Anand Oberoi following him, the fact that it is called Bank Chor, etc – but there’s one element that surely managed to surprise shock people: a Baba Sehgal cameo.
Unofficially the world’s worst special appearance ever, India’s favourite superstar rapper Baba Sehgal, who plays himself in the movie, has also created what could easily be called the world’s maddest rap song ever.
The song, with an innovative hookline that goes, ‘Bank Chor, *gibberish*, Bank Chor’, is a rap number that was created and sung by Baba impromptu during the shoot of Bank Chor (and it shows). 24 hours later, he turned it into a song with lyrics no one can get into their heads and music that no one can get out of their heads.

Move over ‘Pen Apple Pineapple Pen’ and ‘Eye to Eye’, it’s now time for a Bollywood song to be stuck in people’s heads! Bank Chor presents ‘Tashreef’, the most ‘kick-ass’ song of the year, featuring a hook line that’ll make everyone get up (from their bums) and take notice.
An ode to the most ignored part of the human anatomy – the bum – the song is for everyone who has been kicked in the nether regions by the universe but hasn’t found a polite way of saying it. Well, the Bank Chors have obliged with a phrase that is sure to resonate with the common man: ‘Lag gayi tashreef’.
The music video of the song, featuring the three worst chors ever, Champak, Genda and Gulab, shows what literally happens when everything that has to go wrong, goes wrong, or basically when life is pointing at you and laughing its tashreef off!

It’s now quite obvious that the Bank Chors will not stop at any length to get people to laugh at them. They may be incompetent at real choris, but on digital, they are happy (and desperate) to steal anything and everything that will get them some much-needed attention.
With its newest mad promotional idea, Bank Chor came up with multiple ‘chori ke posters’, which they stole from popular Bollywood movies. From Aamir Khan’s Dangal to Salman Khan’s Tubelight, the crazy Bank Chors stole them all. They even did hilarious take on Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One!
King Khan took notice when he saw the poster on Twitter and not only that he also sportingly joined in the fun, proving that he is the King of Humour too.
The Bank Chors said in the poster (quite honestly, in fact) that since they couldn’t shop for G.One’s suit,...

Last week, the world got introduced to Champak, Genda and Gulab, the stupidest Bank Chors ever. First, their antics made everyone laugh out loud in the Bank Chor trailer, that trended #1 on YouTube for three days, and has cumulatively crossed 10 million across the Y-Films social media platforms within a week. Then, the film’s Imaandaar trailer managed to rake up a social media storm as the three chors gave a hilarious dose of imaandaari that Bollywood’s never seen before.
And now, in the title song of Bank Chor, innovatively titled ‘Hum Hain Bank Chor’, the worst chors ever come together for what is certainly the worst Bollywood item song ever! They dance, gyrate and shake their booties in an attempt to lure the audience into watching the film, falsely proclaiming that they are awesome chors. But the truth about their stupidity is fairly visible all through the song.

Two days ago, Y-Films launched the trailer of Bank Chor to no fanfare whatsoever. Barring Riteish Deshmukh and 2-3 of his Twitter friends, no one was excited about another film starring him in the lead. There was also no press conference or event because clearly, the makers of this “comedy” have no money left (#haisiyat). So in a desperate bid to grab attention, Y-Films has come up with the dumbest marketing idea ever thought of within the whole of Andheri: An Imaandaar trailer.
A logic-defying, sense-defying and completely unnecessary idea that will almost certainly backfire and ruin any chance Y-Films had of getting people to a theater, the Imaandaar trailer reveals everything about the movie that most studios Never do… imaandaari se. Bank robbery films have always been cool, sexy & dangerous. And the legacy of the Dhoom franchise is testimony to that. Now Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films, is all set to destroy that with their new feature, Bank Chor.
The film’s trailer launched today, introduces the worst bank chor Ever: Champak Chandrakant Chiplunkar, a simple Marathi manoos played by Riteish Deshmukh who picks the worst day possible to rob a bank. To make matters worse, he recruits 2 idiots from Delhi who’ve never even picked a pocket in their lives. Top that with the craziest bunch of hostages including a high-strung housewife, a hyper chef, a possibly undercover cop… and Baba Sehgal [yeah, ‘Thanda Thanda Pani’ wala!]. How could it get any worse, right?
Wrong! Enter tough as nails supercop, Cbi officer Amjad Khan played by Vivek Oberoi, who shoots first and interrogates later. And a mad media circus outside led by...

Actor-philanthropist Vivek Oberoi who was recently blessed with a beautiful baby girl, finally announced the name of his daughter after much speculation.
Vivek and wife Priyanka have named their month-old baby who was born on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, “Ameyaa Nirvana Oberoi”.
Ameyaa is the name of the goddess Mahalakshmi and it means “she who is limitless”. Nirvana, according to Mahatma Gandhi’s interpretation of the Gita, means “Embracing the entire Universe”.
Says Vivek Oberoi, “In a world that constantly tries to define what girls can or cannot do, we wanted her to believe that she can do anything, achieve anything she dreams of. We want our kids to grow up with values of selfless “seva” where they reach out to the underprivileged and always help those in need.”
Vivek also has a 2 year old son “Vivaan Veer Oberoi”. The actor will next be seen in UK cinemas...

Life just couldn't have been better for Riteish Deshmukh, who has had a dream run last year at the box-office. Vivek Oberoi, who is currently in the Us, has decided to redo his personal vanity van, and he is going the vintage way.
In fact, the Krrish 3 baddie has already started picking up artifacts and furniture from famous places in the Us. While the whole idea of turning a vanity van into a classic space sounds interesting, it was only when Vivek attended a charity show that he got inspired to go re-decorate his vanity van.
Last week, the Bank Chor hero was at a charity show and the event sponsors gave him a vanity van which was not only vintage but beautifully done as well. He got so impressed by the interiors that he is now doing up his own van.
Says Vivek, “Yes, I’ve long wanted to do up my vanity van — now that time permits I am personally picking pieces that I love and doing the space up.

Sonali Cable was set to release on big screen on October 10, but now it has been pushed to October 17. Rohan wants his lead actress Rhea to promote the film for some more time; hence the date of release was changed. But unfortunately it turns out that Yash Raj Films, which manages Rhea’s work, has not allotted Rhea’s dates to the filmmaker.
A inside source close of the filmmaker says, “Yrf was informed in advance about this possible change of date and in any case, small budget films need to be promoted. So we need Rhea’s dates but Yrf has not given her dates for a week. It’s unfortunate that they are doing this with regards to their talent working for another producer.”
Rohan Sippy admits confirms that they are currently facing issues with Rhea’s dates. “I don’t know if she can promote the film or not.

Speaking about the film, Rhea said that she was really delighted to be a part of the roller coaster ride kind of film. On the other hand, Yrf's Ashish Patil said that the reason for them to select Rhea was because they wanted someone who was a package of spunk, hot and cuteness. He added that they were confident that Rhea not just fitted the bill but also has a whacky sense of humor, which is needed for this film. Bank Chor will be directed by Bumpy.

So I'm not losing as much weight as I'd like to." Fortunately...
