At the end of the world a couple of English lads live in a cave by the sea, waiting for the return of their father. A girl (Jennie Eggleton) happens by and offers one an apple, says they don't have to obey the old rules as they look for the city...debating if there is a city.
The boys lived quietly telling stories, playing pick up sticks, refilling non-refillable plastic bottles, and occasional cannibalism. They obeyed the rules of their father. The story has its biblical parallels either by accident or design. For the most part, I found the film as gray and drab as the DVD cover. This is more of a character study of undeveloped characters. I did not find the film as entertaining as my peers. My advice is to watch "A Boy and his Dog" instead.
Guide: brief sex and nudity (Jennie Eggleton)
