Danielle Donahue Warrior Unbound

I'll start by saying that the script isn't great and the acting is dreadful. It should be 0/10 had it not been for the gorgeous Danielle Donahue, luckily the actor with the main role carries this movie. A fantastic performance that I would like to see more of with a script and far better co-actors. She saves the film from a dud to a potential, if she works as hard getting on better projects that she clearly does in the gym as proven by her glistening abs then the only way is up.

Somebody Give Me a Gun
dcarsonhagy1 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Awful does not begin to describe what I watched. Actually, I didn't watch all the movie. In fact, my finger was on my FF button quite a bit.

The advertisement for this (at least on On Demand) was misleading. The survivor was referred to as a savior. Really, or was that just a big lie to lure people like me into renting this gigantic turd? Penny is the sole survivor in a really bad movie. I knew it from the opening credits this was going to be "el cheapo turdigantis." That also does not come close to describing this thing called a movie. It is so overall bad there is not one redeeming facet to talk about. Sound editing (if there was any) was so awful they had to use English subtitles in an English speaking movie. The character of the psychiatrist has to be seen to be believed. The dialogue; OMG, the dialogue. The main character bangs on her head a lot. The mere fact she was the survivor only further proved how stupid and inept the serial killer must have been.

So far, this is on the top of my worst movie of ANY kind for 2016, and definitely the worst "horror" movie ever. Steer FAR around this one people. You'll be glad you did. Rated "I-don't-care", although it has lots of naked breasts. All involved can now go back to their jobs at Jack-N-The-Box. Oh, and did I say it was AWFUL?

What a piece of s**t

After a young girl survives a massacre, leaving herself a sole surviver, she starts to question her own sanity. A very b-independent horror film which is so rediculous nearly all of time, it's just bloody boring.

NO FEAR
nogodnomasters6 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The film opens up as a slasher with gentleman's club dancer Penny Warren, being able to overpower and kill the stronger male serial killer in an abandoned steel mill in South Pittsburgh. Penny (Danielle Donahue) is cared for by the worst doctor, shrink, and detective the acting world in Pittsburgh has to offer. About 30 minutes into the film, there is a copy cat killer and it is no surprise who it is or the preferred murder weapon (see DVD cover and title).

The film was low budget and apparently no one knew you can do "retakes." About 5 minutes into the movie a couple is filmed watching the fight between Penny and Edward Wojowski (Jesse-Lee Lafferty). The twist only made me pity the film more.

Guide: F-word. Bloody nudity.

Compelling Indie Movie
WrestleFan082 September 2018
Survival Knife is a well-made independent movie. I say this because I liked the story, the acting was solid, and they had some very good locations. Beginning what is basically a stalker flick with an intense scene one would expect to find at the end of such a film was a unique touch and really drew me into the action right away. Lead actress Danielle Donahue was very good, giving a believable and often times intense performance. As I'm sure the filmmakers hoped, I kept guessing throughout the movie whether she had snapped and become a killer herself. The supporting cast were all watchable and did a good job as well. And I really liked the scenes (such as the opening) at the industrial location where the killer took his victims. It was very colorful and really added to the production value. Additionally, the movie had a plot twist at the end I didn't see coming. I would recommend this movie.
