- The story is set in the famous Koyambedu market in Chennai. The movie talks about four adolescent boys (Pasanga team of Kishore, Sree Raam, Pandi and Murugesh) whose life revolves around the wholesale vegetable and fruit market, situated in Chennai, the largest of its kind in Asia. They are orphans who grew up around the market with strange and weird names like Chittapa, Kuttimani, Puli and Setu. Their world revolves only around this market; they do not have any other identity. The boys are mentored by Aatchi (Sujatha), a wholesale vegetable vendor who is like a mother to them. The market is controlled by Naidu alias NKB who calls the shots with an iron fist. - The story revolves around four boys working as coolies in Koyambedu market with no particular identity for themselves. Though they live in harmony with their job while having a fair share of fun and flirting with girls, they realize the need to make it big to lead a better life. With the goodwill of Aachi, their godmother and the help of market leader NKB, they set up a restaurant which gets them the identity they craved for.
