Multi award-winning London-based producers Noah Media Group and acclaimed Paris-based producers Federation Entertainment today announced an English-French co-production for ‘Arsène Wenger: Invincible’, the definitive documentary of a footballing pioneer.
The ex-Arsenal Manager, Wenger will provide unprecedented insight and access, as British filmmaker Gabriel Clarke (Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager; Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans,) and co-director Christian Jeanpierre, seek to capture the man behind the manager. It will feature key figures from throughout Wenger’s career and interviews with some of the biggest names in world football, as well as from the fabled Gunners’ Invincible side of 2003/4, who to this day remain the only Premier League team to go an entire season unbeaten.

London-based Noah Media Group is joining forces with Paris-headquartered Federation Entertainment on “Arsène Wenger: Invincible,” a feature documentary portraying the French soccer pioneer who changed the landscape of the English Premier League.
“Arsène Wenger: Invincible” is being directed by Gabriel Clarke, the British filmmaker whose BBC docu “Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans” was part of Cannes 2020’s Official Selection, and is co-directed by Christian Jeanpierre, a well-known sports journalist.
French pay TV group Canal Plus has commissioned the documentary which is set to be narrated by Wenger himself. The London-based outfit have partnered with Charlton and his family on the project, with a theatrical release planned for the summer of 2020 – thirty years on from Italia 90, when Charlton led the Republic of Ireland in their first ever World Cup.
The film will explore the story and legacy of that team but it will also look at Charlton’s playing career. He won the World Cup as a player with England in 1966, alongside brother Bobby Charlton, always the more revered player. However, the more outspoken Jack was a household name as pundit and TV celebrity by the early 1970s before turning his hand to coaching.
