Sex & Nudity

  • A ship is trafficking girls as slaves, one says her father sold her.
  • A man looks suggestively at a woman, sexual intent is implied.
  • Eunuchs are mentioned in a demand for tribute as well as "maids" - whose meaning is unclear in translation to english.
  • A couple of women in period non-revealing undergarments are seen playfully teasing a man in an implied manner.
  • Several men are seen shirtless, bathing in the rain. A woman smiles approvingly.
  • A comment is made about the size of a male whale's thingy.
  • A man puts his hand in his pants to rub his groin with a womans hand connected to his wrist.

  • An unarmed man is slashed across the throat, blood is seen as he dies in another man's arms.

  • A man is suddenly charged by a shark, and sees it coming through the water
  • Another man falls in the water and the crew battle the shark in what turns into a comical situation, but could be intense at the start for a younger audience
  • A village is destroyed, with children crying over dead bodies.

  • Much of the story centres around hunting a whale. This premise and some of its circumstances are somewhat disturbing as it has a calf, that is exploited and harmed to lure the mother.
