This was the first episode I have watched of this series. I happened to watch it because Cobie Smulders was in it. The premise of the series was intriguing, as well.

As the plot unfolded, I was touched by Val's and Jordan's actions and motivations. I was blown away by the plot twist that made things turn out "right" in the end--how justice was served. I watch a lot of crime shows, but I've NEVER seen that particular tactic used--or threatened to be used--in a criminal trial.

I apologize for the extra verbiage in this review, but I needed to reach the 600-character minimum threshold. I would think that "shorter is better," but rules are rules, I guess!
