Set in Asakusa, along the Sumida river amongst all the multi- tenanted residential and commercial buildings, there is a company by the name of "Ookawabata Tanteisha". It is a small private investigators' agency, run by 3 people. Muraki, who is the licensed investigator; the "Director", who has ties with the underworld; and Megumi, the candid and bubbly pretty receptionist. Their customers are from all walks of life, and some come with the strangest requests, and yet none are turned away. In the course of their investigations, they come in contact with the people related to the clients, and they end up trying to resolve their relationship problems. The first 5 episode are really caught me, each episode with different strange cases. But somehow it lose its 'recipe', I know the main problem of this series is the duration is too short for one mystery one episode style, only 30 minute. So you will feel its like a bit rushing to reach the conclusion. I love One Hitoshi direction here, stylish and worth viewing but unfortunately the time is too short. I'm also feel annoyed with Megumi appearance, yeah men will like it but when they always show hers' in each episode. It become totally boring and too unnecessary. Would like to give 5 for its unstable momentum and worst ending but average 7 is worth for it. If you love Japanese awkward style of detective, this is it.
