I used to watch it ever since it first premiered on TV and continued watching for a very long time. Out of all the Indian TV shows at the time this one really stood out. This being a soap may make you think it's historically inaccurate but it's quite accurate except for a few changes for the sake of keeping the audience wondering what will happen next. The acting is good but nothing exceptional I would say. Ekta Kapoor like usual likes to add a whole lot of unnecessary suspense which one may find either intriguing or annoying. The series went on for too long as most of the shows that get popular do so the quality of the later episodes is undermined.

From brilliant historical to typical daily soap

This show was good when it started , it was historic and cast , acting was great but as it is typical ekta kapoor show so it become all that sas bahu drama instead of a historical and become extremely boring . I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch this , i also think that it is the main cause why mytho and historical shows has become crap now because before this show any historical or mytho show used to had limited episodes and good to the point story but now all become sas bahu drama .

Jodha & Akbar series is truly inspirational to watch. This series shows how the political marriage between Jodha & Akbar changes the destiny of India. We also get to see all the trials and tribulations Jodha & Akbar are faced with, yet they still prevail and become stronger. Jodha manages to show Jalal what true love is and she is the reason why his heart beats. Because of Jodha, Jalal begins to rule with his heart and cares for his peoples needs. We also get to see how Jalal acquires the title of Akbar. This is definitely one of the best series on Zee World.

Ireally don't like watching Indian daily soaps but I was interested in this show because of Rajat Tokas . I watched him in prithviraj chauhan so I thought I must give a try since I don't like daily soaps. It's been 6 years but they both Rajat and Paridhi still have impact on me as Jodha Akbar . I still watch this drama in 2019. I really loved their performance in this show . Well I wouln't compare them to Hrithik and Aishwariya I had't watched the movie at that time . I watched the movie later on they have some scenes from the movie as its taken as an inspiration but in the show their characters were explored more, Rajat-Paridhi's chemistry, how Jodha turns him into Akbar from Jalal, everything from Maham Anga to Ruqaiya every character around Jalal was explored .
The cast was amazing . If you wants to watch this show then you can watch it on YouTube or ZEE5 App.

This is the only Ekta Kapoor's show that i can genuinely say is good but, it becomes little boring at the end. Also, Starting episodes were quite impressive and impactful. Not to mention, chemistry between lead roles, Jalal and Jodha is amazing.

I don't get why ya'll think it was getting boring when it actually was not . Fans were loving when salim and anarkali was included in this show including me i missed seeing them. Salim got married and boom they got dissappeared, They randomly ended the series when theirs more to show about salim anar, it might be bc of rating issues but still. I honestly think they should make a season 2 of it yet it's not possible as it's been years since the show ended but still salim anar part deserves to be seen and extend fr with the same team who was playing the role earlier and im sure the fans would love them making a season 2.
