- A man jokes that a woman could afford to rent a room if she was going to have a man over.
- Men are seen shirtless in a few scenes, none of them sexual.

- Typical of the action genre, there are many scenes of violence throughout, including fighting, car chases, shootouts, torture, murders, assassinations, and executions. Many of these scenes are intense, but most of them aren't particularly gory or gruesome. Notable examples listed below.
- In a flashback scene we hear a woman's voice saying "please don't kill me", followed by a close-up on a gun firing. This scene is replayed several times in the film with increasingly more detail shown. Her dead body is also seen in these flashbacks.
- Regular shootouts and several scenes of close-quarters combat, both hand-to-hand and with weapons, resulting in several deaths. Two characters are killed via drug injection, a character has his neck broken, a man is impaled on a metal pole and his blood can be seen dripping from the pole, and several characters are shot and killed.
- A bomb blows up a building on a street crowded with civilians.
- A gunman opens fire on a group of people in a church, including a priest, women, and children.
- A man slaps a woman and knocks her up against a wall rendering her unconscious.
- A man is executed with a gun shot to the back of the head. The camera focuses on the victim's face and blood is seen dripping from his forehead. In another scene, a man is shot in the face. This scene is shown from behind with blood spraying all over a window.
- Human trafficking of children.
