A.J. Trauth: Probst Wyatt III

Quotes

  • Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : So long since I practised my English. It's a dying tongue

    [Walks towards Blazkowicz]

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : You, I've seen you before. Oh, such a resilient specimen. With you, I can do great things.

[Walks towards Fergus and Wyatt and leans down to look at Wyatt]

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : I like the eyes on this one.

Fergus Reid : Don't you fuckin' touch him.

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : [Leans towards Fergus]  I like yours too.

[Walks towards Prendergast who has a bandage over his eye, wipes his hand on Prendergast's head and smells it]

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : Not this one, somebody broke it already, it's a shame.

[Opens his briefcase and pulls out a scalpel]

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : Captain Blazkowitcz, help me make a choice. Which one of these 2 varieties will best support my research? I have inadequate room for samples, should you decline my appeal, I'll put a scalpel in them and we'll be here all day. I'll make things, simple. All you need to do is look to the one, you will have me dissect.

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : [Blazkowicz chooses Wyatt]  Yes. An astute selection: Young, unspoiled, fresh, tender samples with fatty tissues intact.

Probst Wyatt III : You will save me, will ya' sir. I know you can do it. Sir?

Wilhelm 'Deathshead' Strasse : [Blazkowicz chooses Fergus]  Really, this one? I would have elected the other but I would deter your preference, Captain Blazkowicz.

Fergus Reid : It's okay, Captain. This is a war: people die. My time is up, that's all.

  • William 'B.J' Blazkowicz : Wyatt. I need the keys to the Archives. You get 'em?

Probst Wyatt III : Yes. I think so.

[Wyatt gets up from his chair and then drops Dogtags]

Probst Wyatt III : Perfect, just gosh dang perfect.

William 'B.J' Blazkowicz : What do you got there?

Probst Wyatt III : Dogtags. Wing Commander Fergus Reid from the Royal Airforce. I took those off of his dead body, and wanted to return them to the RAF, but then there was no RAF.

William 'B.J' Blazkowicz : Best damn pilot and a hell of a soldier.

Probst Wyatt III : I'm not cut out for this, you know.

Probst Wyatt III : Not cut out for what?

Probst Wyatt III : This. Everything, I was only 18 years old and suddenly the war was lost. Everything good in the world died, somehow *I* was supposed to pick up the pieces, keep the resistance going and take on the whole gosh darn Nazi Empire. You think I was ready for that kind of responsibility? My ignorance has gotten so many good people killed. Remember Private Prendergast? You know, that guy can survive anything, so tough.Well, I got him killed, sent him out on a mission and never came back. I just didn't know any better. Wing Commander Fergus Reid, he would know what to do. He could've saved so many.

William 'B.J' Blazkowicz : I made the wrong choice.

Probst Wyatt III : [Becoming angry]  You have a made a stupid choice, yes you did ! You have let a boy in charge of a man's work. I should've died on that day, Captain. On that slab and Fergus Reid should've lived.

    [Calms down]

Probst Wyatt III : I'm not a child anymore, Captain. I know when mistakes are made.

    [Picks up the Archives key]

    Probst Wyatt III : Here.

[Hands the key to B.J. and pushes him out of his room and closes it]

Probst Wyatt III : Leave me alone now, you hear!
