Sex & Nudity

  • In one of the DLC stories, Anna tries to do something... questionable while the characters are in the hot springs, and if the player chose Male Robin at the beginning of the game, he will state that she walked into the men's hot spring. No nudity is shown, however, as Robin's portrait isn't even shown during the cutscene, but this could make some players uncomfortable.
  • In one of the conversations with the female avatar and Chrom, Chrom walks in on the female avatar while she's taking a bath, but nothing is shown. In another conversation the female avatar accidentally walks in on Chrom while is is taking a bath, but nothing is shown here either.
  • Some of the female characters are scantily clad.
  • There are some DLC maps (which are purchased separately in game using a Nintendo Network account) that show both male and female characters in swimsuits (bikinis for the female characters, swimming trunks for the male characters). Another DLC map shows the characters going to a hot spring, and some potential conversations show that these characters are naked when bathing in the hot springs (nothing shown). Additionally, one of the DLC maps has a conversation between Tharja and Nowi where Nowi complements Tharja's "boingy bits," referring to her breasts (though they are never referred to as such). This is censored in the European version where Nowi complements Tharja's "shiny hair."

Violence & Gore

  • Mild medieval fantasy violence involving swords, lances, axes, and bows and arrows, and tome magic. Little to no blood at all.

Profanity

  • "damn", "hell" and "crap" are used occasionally as well as "gods".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some characters talk about having a drink to celebrate their battle victory, but they are not seen drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a cutscene at the very beginning of the game (which is repeated late game) where Chrom is stabbed with the thunder spell Thoron. He struggles to remain conscious before eventually collapsing.
  • There is a cutscene in which a portal appears and undead people emerge.
  • There is a cutscene that shows a giant demon-like creature.
  • There is a cutscene where a character intentionally falls off a cliff in order to protect her country and siblings. We hear a light thud upon her hitting the ground, but her corpse is never seen. Even so, this may be upsetting to some young children
