- No obvious sex scene happen throughout the movie.
- Conversations about being a virgin and one losing her virginity.
- Sarah pulls down her shorts and begins peeing in the woods. Nothing shown but her shorts are around her ankles.
- Charlie accidentally flashes her naked body to a boy, but the we only briefly see her backside and a side of her breast before she covers up.
- It is implied that Charlie's mother and Esteban spend the night together. We see her leaving his caravan in the morning with shoes in her hand. He is in his underwear at the door.
- Charlie has to remove graffiti in the school that include "Charlie the whore", "Charlie gives sodomy free" and "I give head."
- We hear Charlie's parents have sex in the other room.

- Charlie suffers from 3 asthma attacks. All show her being distressed and unable to breathe.

- Sarah kisses Charlie briefly while they are acting out an imaginary scene. She also holds Charlie's hand against her breast very briefly while they both laugh, evidently drunk. Both are fully clothed.
- Charlie and Lucas share a passionate kiss towards the end;fully clothed.

- Sarah threatens to kill Charlie for following her home.
- Sarah's face is bruised, implying her mother hit her.
- Charlie grabs Sarah and Sarah fights her off quickly and walks away.
- Charlie attacks Sarah in class and the fight is quickly broken up by other classmates.
- Charlie pushes Sarah forcefully and Sarah hits her head on a dresser next to a bed. There is no blood to be seen.
- Charlie suffocates Sarah, it is suggested that she dies as a result.

- The end scene shows Charlie suffocating Sarah with a pillow in an attempt to kill her. She is distressed and cannot breathe but Charlie does not stop. It is implied she dies.
