Kidnapping an ADA
bkoganbing2 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Doing a kidnapping to get someone's attention is a desperate act, but Rebecca Naomi Jones is a desperate woman. She's dying of cancer anyway and her son has been two and half years incarcerated without a trial. Fortunately for her the ADA was Bridget Moynahan who did some due diligence and got this case moved. Amazing how both the cops and the DA's office messed up here.

But most of this episode concerns Donnie Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez tracking down the murder of a drag performer. A drag performer by the way who was a member of the Yale Club. But her murderer is as far away from the Yale Club as you can get.

Nicely done especially Wahlberg and Ramirez's scene with the entertainers and earlier Wahlberg interrogating a Yale Club member who had an involvement with the deceased. You never what it takes to bring out the gay in you.

Disturbing stance on what constitutes harassment
Auralae409 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
The inexorable social engineering mantra of "cross-dressing is fiiiiine, there's absolutely nothing not beautiful, completely healthy and brave to boot about drag queens and their sartorial proclivities" aside; I personally was shocked to hear Baker mention that she had well over 100 recorded calls from a deputy chief who's unwanted attention she suspects has now blossomed into seeking to humiliate her AND her co-workers. HOW is this not harassment--heck, how is that not stalking?! The resolution of this subplot served as comedic relief, which was disappointing to say the least.

Getting back to what I put aside first, at least Blue Bloods managed to find male drag queens, instead of putting forth female actors to portray them. That was a plus.

Warning: Spoilers
A drag queen is murdered and the suspect appears to be the guy who had fallen for her. Of course, this proves not to be the case and Danny pursues the real killer.

Erin gets assaulted by the dying mother of a person who has been imprisoned for 2 years waiting trial. The mother had this act done to bring attention to her son's dilemma. Erin believes her and further investigates with some surprising results.

The episode highlights how the police investigate when one of their own is accused of wrong-doing. Don't harass a woman cop should be the morale of this segment of the story.
