Generally speaking, this TV Series can be considered a spin-off of Lucky Star. I prefer to call it the unlucky star. XD . (Although the latter is sometimes called a Moe attribute). In addition, the TV series is supervised by Yamamoto Yutaka, which is also the supervisor of episodes one through four of Lucky Star, and some have speculated about some elusive connection between the two.
