Wait for Eiiiiiight ...

People who expect this show to change are going to be disappointed. The point of Psych is to be a great palette cleanser full of laughs and smiles. I love it. Is it a dramatic, cinematic masterpiece? Maybe not. But it's reliable and all in good fun.

If you're still interested in the comedic props the show is weighted on, then you should love season eight episode 1. A lot of season 7 got kind of so-so, but this episode is reminiscent of the humor rampant in the first few seasons. Shawn and Gus pulled out all the stops!

In a TV universe full of dismal murder mysteries and mind-bending dramas, I'm glad to refresh my system with a good dose of Psych, which is a show I can be certain won't involve sob inducing plot twists that make me want to die inside. Psych makes me happy, and happiness is something the world needs more of!

The Return of Elwes

Lots of comedy. The episode goes back and forth on the concept of Elwes' character. Is he a mild mannered Interpol employee, or really Pierre Despareaux, International Art Thief? Whichever, Sean loves getting involved in his schemes while a reluctant Gus is dragged behind (though I think he really enjoys it) .

Lots of Harry Potter references.

After watching the series from the start and mildly enjoying it, I laughed so hard during this episode that I cried! So good!

Sexy Beast!!

I'm a huge Guy Ritchie fan so this was already off to a good start. However, hands down, one of the BEST and funniest scenes EVER was Sean 'sexy beasting' Gus into joining Vinnie Jones's crew. Sheer comedic brilliance!!
