Do you remember your first love?

If you've ever been in young love. A love so real it hurt to imagine ever being without the other, then this video might actually take you back to that time. I think the song and the video while cheesey did succeed at doing this. Especially when Enrique had his face almost against the piano keys playing a melody in the beginning of the clip.

Schmaltziest song of all time?

Warning: Spoilers
Everybody over the age of 20 has probably at least once heard Enrique Iglesias' "Hero" and this one here is the music video for it. It goes for 4.5 minutes and features experienced actors Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mickey Rourke. The video is certainly not as cringeworthy as the song, even if it has some weak moments too, like Iglesias and Love Hewitt constantly making out. Boy was she a bigger star back then than she is today. Or that Mickey Rourke would simply take a punch from Iglesias without defending himself. Or the empty police cars standing there in the end in a Romeo&Juliet like ending. It's certainly not a good video, but I have to admit the song can actually work as a guilty pleasure. Still, only not a worse rating because Rourke is as cool as it gets. There is no real value to this clip from almost 15 years ago, even if director Joseph Kahn is still hyper successful in music videos today and maybe soon even in real films à la Spike Jonze.
