- There's fairly graphic sex scenes in almost every episode - sometimes more than one.
- The main characters of the show are constantly commiting adultery voluntarily
- Shows male & female bottoms and occasional breasts. Most sex scenes show partial nudity (implied action, bodies part/fully covered completely hiding the sexual parts); in one other short scene a topless woman supposedly masturbates as a man watches. However, in one scene a man masturbates and you see his fully erect penis.
Violence & Gore

- Multiple killings of both characters that play as extras and some main characters. Some of these killings are portrayed in a very graphic manner with blood splatter and bullet wounds
- A man kills another man by smashing his head in with a gym weight. This scene is EXTREMELY gory and graphic as you see them man's face and skull get caved in with each blow until his head is a squashed, bloody mess. Very shocking scene.
- In one torture scene the captors force a power drill into a man's kneecap before finishing him off by drilling into his forehead. This scene is EXTREMELY bloody, graphic and upsetting as the captors seem to be laughing and enjoying it. You see the drill entering his kneecap in closeup (and the camera lingers on it) but not the head (just lots of blood pouring down the face). This is one of the most shocking and sadistic scenes in any TV show or film and is more like a scene from a horror movie.
- A man is burned alive in a torture scene. Graphic and upsetting.
- This show is extremely bloody and violent with bloody graphic violence occurring in almost every episode. This show is easily one of the most violent and bloody shows ever made and is comparable to Game of Thrones on this front, if not worse. The gym weight and drill scene alone are among the most shocking, brutal, bloody violent scenes ever made. There is also violence towards towards women and children.
- A man is unexpectedly stabbed repeatedly from behind with a large knife. Very bloody and shocking.
- Dozens of people shot in the head, often from point blank range with blood and brain matter spraying everywhere on nearly all occasions. One occasion you see a character repeatedly shot in the face from close range and you see the bullet holes puncturing his face. Very graphic.
- A man is tortured for information by shooting a nail gun into him several times. Pretty graphic.
- A man shoots his own son in the head, killing him instantly. Fairly graphic but more upsetting due to the nature of the scene.
- Several scenes of people having their throat cut. All graphic and very bloody.
- A man gets shot in the neck from close range, he raises his hand in defence before being gunned down to his death. Very graphic, bloody and shocking.
- A woman is shot in the chest and throat from close range. You see the bloody hole in her neck from fairly close which starts pouring with blood as she dies. Very graphic.
- A bullet skims a mans neck, blood gushes over his hands and his body as he tries to cover the wound
- A well liked character is gunned down from close range with a large machine gun. Multiple bloody bullet holes appear on the person's body as they are killed.
- A woman shoots another woman in the head, who is laid on the floor begging for her life at point blank range with a handgun, her brains are splattered all over the floor, very bloody gory, and upsetting.
- Two men have a fight in a hallway, one has a knife, the other man manages to turn the knife against the assailant and drives it into his chest. He pulls the knife out and blood pumps and spurts from the wound and he falls to the floor and dies in a pool or blood. Pretty graphic.
- A man angrily, but accidentally strangles a woman to death. Not particularly graphic, but shocking due to the nature of the scene.
- A child is shot and killed from close range. From more of a distance than the usual killings in this show. Not graphic but very upsetting.
- A already injured man is pistol whipped repeatedly with maybe a dozen blows. Very graphic and bloody as you see his face getting smashed in with most of the blows, and the aftermath.
- A man is shot and killed from close range with a silenced pistol through the eye. Fairly graphic and bloody.
- A man is tortured with a large hunting knife whilst being tied to a chair. The assailant cuts large parts of flesh from his thigh and you see the knife cutting into his leg and the flesh and skin fall to the ground. VERY graphic and bloody. The camera them pans away and you can see large parts of flesh missing from his other leg, and lots of blood and flesh on the floor.
- A teenager gets shot
- Kidnapping, fist-fighting and gun-fighting, including graphic visuals of blood

- this show is co-produced by 50 Cent so for every power episode there will be 200+ uses of Profanity
- Strong language is used throughout the show both as insults and as friendly name-calling. also, offensive and derogatory language is used describing minorities.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Cocaine is snorted on multiple occasions. Weed is regularly smoked.
- A concoction of prescription drugs and cough syrup is consumed on a regular basis by several characters, including minors.
- Ghost, the main character drinks a lot of whiskey, and one time is seen extremely drunk, stumbling and falling over.
- the main character owns a nightclub and a huge drug dealing organization...both portrayed as a good way to make money albeit dangerous.

- There is a lot of graphic violence that is very emotional and hard to watch.
- Some death scenes are very intense.
