Ed Westwick is so good even if this movie sucks. I see some good emotional part between pilot and flight attendant. It's cliche but remains cute, the rest was dramatic scifi, fake effects, nonsence scenes and zero fear. I'm sorry!

Bilingual (English/Mandarin) Chinese production of a horror/thriller set on an overseas flight, as those on board start mysteriously dying off one by one with gruesome scratch marks, by and large in real-time.
Filled with one-dimensional characters and clichéd tropes like the newly separated romantic pairing who still have to work together, the snobbish first class couple with only disdain for everything and everyone, the cocky jock who ribs his faithful friend the gentle nerd, the blind prescient woman who everyone ignores due to her "craziness" but apparently sees all... The list goes on and on, all with cheeky dialogue borrowed from the worst of TV soap operas. It was wholly unbelievable to see almost all the actors being under age 30 who, although present plenty of eye-candy, nowhere nearly resemble a representative flight audience and the supposedly complex characters they are portraying.
Frankly this would have never gotten funding to be made in the US, certainly not without substantial rewriting. The idea of a movie set almost entirely on a plane is inherently a challenging subject, much less a genre film like this. Even with moderately well schemed plots and seasoned veteran actors, we can only hope for the likes of thrillers like Non-Stop and Air Force One. Or perhaps, with reality largely thrown out the door, we expect the camp and over-the- top fantasy that is Snakes on a Plane.

Interesting take on low grade horror

Made in the guise of a full scale Hollywood thriller, this film is definitely low budget through and through. Tossing in bit of every genre (no kitchen sink?), we actually are left with a pretty entertaining b-grade thriller. The acting leaves much to be desired, but there is a lot of care in the details. Aboard a final flight from a secluded vacation island, the capitan, crew, and nine passengers encounter an unimaginable terror, and fight to survive. If you can appreciate the idea, and the cheap execution, you will probably fall head-long into this campy slice of entertainment. Fun, silly, with a couple good scares; if you're a horror aficionado, this comes with a mild recommendation.

This gripping and thought-provoking film explores the darker aspects of the human psyche and the power of unity in the face of adversity. The film expertly captures the fear of being trapped in an enclosed space, as the passengers desperately fight back against a deadly creature. The storyline compile with multiple themes that includes desperation to live, betrayals, love and the consequences of meddling with nature but some scenes are quite unnatural such as the death scenes and the uncertain fate of the characters makes audiences question the possibility of escape in those situations. Not much of a horror.

Unredictable storyline with over the top effects but it was an enjoyable movie nonetheless with some twists and turns along the movie. Quite surprised to see some interesting characters in the storyline and there were a number of comic scenes with the over the top special effects which did not turn out the way it was envisioned. It is like Snakes on a plane without any direction on humor or entertainment.
Watch this movie if you have some time to spare on a long weekend and switch off your mind for some entertainment.
Hope there will be a new movie of this.

Even while the picture might not appeal to everyone, those who prefer goofy with a few excellent scares will probably like it. A quite standard survival film that happen on an airplane. Overall was not tension much although I'm expecting some tension scene but I think it was okay. As the film are trying to create suspense, the characters seems not well brief enough and underdeveloped, which I think that's the main reason failed to keep the audience fully engaged. Probably with a lower budget that comes out with a not-so-thriller wannabe kind of movie, would expect to see more of the plots and the engagement between the characters but it's seems having a difficulties on forming a strong connection within. The pacing was kinda inconsistent. But overall still okay.

A nice sci-fi film with some romance between pilot (Ed Westwick) and flight attendant (Zhu Zhu) as well as the passengers. The crews and the passengers were returning from a vacation island on a red-eye flight but never did they expect that the normal flight is going to turn into the worst nightmare ever. Everyone have to fight for their life to live from a cat-liked killing creature. There is a few bloody but not at all will I consider it as a horror movie because there is no scaring scene. The film was kind of entertaining and worth a watch for those who does not like film with scare moment.

I'm not a fans of horror-thriller movie tbh but this is nicer than I thought. The whole movie flow was quite good and all the actors are great to lead the audience enjoy in every scene just like taking a roller coasters. I'm quite amaze with the effects in the movie. TBH I was shouting out load few times watching this especially when seeing the mutant cat-like creature appears and the action sequences are well coordinated. I think this is a great movie that you must pick to watch with your friends/ family especially on a weekends. For those who think this might be those usual horror thriller kind of movie, you should watch this.

It's a quite classic horror-thriller movie that give tension from beginning until the end. The whole movie are so realistic and the accident are following each by each, which give the audience tension to find out what are happening next. The effects that showcase the mutant monsters and each of the scenes are fascinating. Personally think that the actors are so well brief and develops that giving so real response which adding points to this movie that giving all the audiences tension and enjoy the whole movie flow, wanting to continue find out what is going to happen next. The movie is quite a standard sci-fi movie with some adventures with mutant cats that appear, trying to kill those passengers that kind of thriller movie. To be honest I didn't hate this kind of plot tho. It is just quite a predictable storyboard. But in the scene where the mutant cats appear to kill, I think the movie did well taking audiences on a gripping flight filled with suspense and terror. The movie builds tension through the passengers' resourcefulness and strategies. What I think is it just lack of originality to come out with these kinds of ideas. Overall I think it still delivers quite a decent thrilling finale. Just somehow predictable.

Im never a fan of horror genre movie. However, i love thriller and since I've been lately catching air plane related show, this attracted to. The flow of the movie started off pretty well when the red eye flight took off without the passengers realising they are in for some scary moments.
With the appearance of the cat like monster, the tension on board turns intense. When the flight attendant was found lifeless, this triggered even more fear onboard and enclose area which leaves them unable to escape.
As they are all high in the sky, one is can help them other than themselves. Having to out smart the creature and also tonwork together to make sure they keep themselves safe.
This is not a super scary horror story and will recommend others to catch the show!
