The 3-year-old 3-minute animated short film "If Disney Cartoons Were Historically Accurate" does have a bit in common with Disney films these days and also the older ones. In the center of it is a princess and there is lots of singing. That's all in terms of similarities though. We see wicked things happen, bloody stuff I am talking about here and they lyrics are also not exactly harmless. Especially Aladdin gets his fair share. It's Rachel Bloom's usual brand of comedy, some plays on words and quite a considerable amount of obscenity. I have watched a few of her early short film works and this one is not among the very best I think. Still, it was an okay watch and it achieved what it intended. Look at the title to find out what I mean. Bloom also co-wrote here as almost always. I recommend these 3 minutes. Thumbs up.
