Emma decides to challenge Barbara, fishing for information about Derek, then she quizzes her own father to try and discover who's halted the planning permission. Beth confronts Andi over the photographs and lands up in real trouble.
I'm enjoying it, even if it is absolutely bonkers and all over the place, every single character knows more than they're letting on, everybody is behaving suspiciously, it's almost like a farcical stage play has been brought to life.
It's a lot of stress for a kitchen extension, if it were me I'd settle for a new cooker and some nice new worktops.
My burning question, who knew what and why keep what they knew secret, I wanted answers, I also wanted to know who was the victim at the start of episode one, we did get a couple of answers, but there are still lots of questions.
Who has halted the planning permission, I don't think it's Emma's father, I think it's John.
I'm not sure if Barbara was elated or mortified at the news, Derek really was a pig of man, it was definitely nice to see Tessa Peake-Jones having more to do, other than sobbing and looking glum.
Kind of enjoying.
6/10.
