Warning: Spoilers
Another excellent episode involving the usual ethics. A 13 year old boy is the witness to his father's death and he fingers a guy who has been cooperating with Homeland Security in trying to foil terrorist plots.

Jamie is suspended for violating a superior officer's orders. Frank had no choice but to allow this despite the fact that Danny felt that it was in the best interest to accompany a young boy to the hospital.

The very best part comes later when the terrorist mentioned above turns the tables and holds Erin, her ex-husband, the judge and others in court. As a result of this, we are left wondering if there is a possibility of reconciliation between Erin and her former husband.

Smart to see that the Regan family had a code among them that indicates that one is about to shoot.

Warning: Spoilers
I know its Hollywood and they have to sanitize everything for TV, and they also have to dramatize things, but they end up showing most police departments as incompetent idiots and the main characters always have to be the "heroes" and most competent.

First off violent criminals are always cuffed when they are in court and if there was somehow an incident where a defendant overpowered a bailliff, there are usually a number of armed bailiffs or officers that would have shot this guy dead before he could take hostages. Second, assuming he could gain control of the courtroom, he is one man with a single firearm. SWAT would have been mobilized and they would have breached the court, tossed in a flashbang and taking him down. Lastly, assuming no one approved SWAT breaching, they would have had a sniper outside when he was making his getaway and they would have taken him down.

Since I am on this rant, the show continues to show THEE most submissive criminals you will ever find. Soon as even the smallest and weakest police officer catches a fleeing felon they fall limply to the ground and allow themselves to be handcuffed. This NEVER HAPPENS LIKE THIS. They always resist and it usually takes 3 or more officers to subdue them. Anyone who thinks otherwise has never tried to handcuff anyone who doesn't want to be cuffed, it is NOT easy.
