Since her breakthrough at the turn of the century, Pink has carved out a niche as one of pop’s most restless real talkers—songs like “Family Portrait,” “Fuckin’ Perfect,” and “Dear Mr. President” have seemed to bubble out of her experiences and ruminations in real time, and the conviction and vocal power with which she delivers them makes them hit harder.
Pink’s ninth album, Trustfall, is named after the plunges people take when they want to test the devotion of those around them—a fitting metaphor for the Pennsylvania-born superstar on multiple levels.

Netflix's Sex Education Season 3 was confirmed by the streaming giant less than a month after Season 2 arrived.
Sex Education is officially scheduled for a third seasonal semester on Netflix!
The caustic Netflix comedy focused on levity-laced adolescent libidinous – a production of U.K. company Eleven Films – has quietly established itself as a breath of fresh air, and has enjoyed widespread critical acclaim, thus making the renewal for Sex Education Season 3 – less than a month after the January 17 release of Season 2 – unsurprising but nevertheless welcome news.
Netflix made the third season renewal announcement with a tracking-shot-centric promo in which cast member Alistair Petrie (Principal Groff) – seemingly tapped into a Rod Serling/Night Gallery mode – walks through a Moordale High art exhibition filled with framed portraits of Sex Education’s primary players such as Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Lily (Tanya Reynolds) and resident therapeutic matriarch Dr.

There are a lot of films that take aim at the youth of a particular moment in time and hope to speak to and for a generation. Most are just so much noise amongst the zeitgeist they pretend to thumb their noses at. The ones that work usually hold up well as films generation after generation, because they are close enough to their own generation and smart enough to realize that they aren’t exatly saying anything new.
Kids in Love, for example, while a stunning portrait of a sub-section of youth-ish today, reminds of nothing more than Metropolitan, a 26-year-old film that it has almost nothing in common with, except an extraordinary understanding of how its characters represent their own societal woes.
This is a film that sets us up with stereotypes and then delivers characters that, like real people, can’t see themselves as a demographic representative, and...

Kids In Love tells a very specific coming-of-age story. Not a universal one by any stretch, but rather an exploration of what it’s like to be a middle class British young man who’s just reached the end of compulsory education. Options are sprawled in front of Will Poulter’s Jack - an unpaid internship, a gap year, a university course – but none of them particularly interest him.
Enter Alma Jodorowsky as Evelyn, a Frenchwoman living in London who parties at places that Jack can’t even describe. She lives in a big quirky house filled with free-spirited pals, including Cara Delevingne’s Viola (an interesting role for the Suicide Squad alum, with a certain wit and warmth emerging alongside a vast collection of colourful headbands), Evelyn’s loathsome boyfriend Cassius (co-writer Preston Thompson) and the film’s breakthrough comedic force Milo (the other co-writer,...

Ealing Studios has acquired a significant stake in TV and film company GreenAcre Films and forged a new creative partnership with the company that will see Ealing Studios expand its TV division.
Having already announced earlier this year the ITV commission of Maigret for two stand-alone films starring Rowan Atkinson, Ealing Studios’ stake in GreenAcre will see them develop a TV slate for both UK and international broadcasters.
It marks the first partnership at the newly restructured Ealing Studios headed by Ben Latham-Jones.
Co-founded by Nadine Marsh-Edwards and Amanda Jenks in 2010, GreenAcre Films became a division of Wall to Wall in 2012. It will continue to co-produce its current drama slate, which includes projects for HBO, BBC and ITV.
As well as developing new TV projects, GreenAcre will also expand its feature film roster which already has a number of titles in development with the BFI.
In a joint statement, GreenAcre co-founders Nadine Marsh-Edwards and Amanda Jenks said:...

UK cinema in 2015 has plenty to recommend it. Here are 36 UK films of all genres to look forward to this year…
Dig past the litterfall of Kray Brothers biopics and tales of nubile teens on camping trips gone wrong, and you’ll unearth plenty for the UK film industry to boast about in 2015. From sci-fi romps and thrillers like Robot Overlords and Ex Machina to dramas like High-Rise, comedies like War On Everyone, spy flicks like Spectre and kids’ films like Bill, there’s no shortage of inventive, highly promising cinema coming from these isles.
We’ve included a few choice co-productions in 2015’s pick of the year’s most interesting-looking pictures, which bolsters our list in both size and breadth (and mostly means we Brits can claim partial credit for ace-sounding dystopian flick The Lobster).
In alphabetical order then, here are the 36 UK (or UK-ish) movies we’re excited about seeing this year…...

English model-actress Cara Delevingne may be surfing along with the Beach Boys musical All Summer Long, from producers Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, and John Stamos. The Pan co-star is in talks for a lead role in the musical film which Michael Sucsy is set to direct for Fox 2000. The studio shelled out $2 million in 2010 for the pitch from Susannah Grant along with rights to the Beach Boys catalogue in a 1960s California-set story inspired by the crooners’ music.
Hairspray and Chicago producers Zadan and Meron teamed previously with Stamos on the 2000 ABC TV biopic The Beach Boys: An American Family, which the three exec produced. Further details on All Summer Long are under wraps but Delevingne would play Caroline. Last month the project was selected as one of 26 projects to receive tax credit cash in the California Film Commission’s annual lottery.
