I know that this show has had some bad reviews in the press, and I think it is completely unfair. As a woman currently at the beginning of renovating my house on my own, I find her and her female builder, Aggy, super inspiring. As a woman, you are often intimidated in the trader world. Stacey makes you feel like, 'of course I can do this!' I have learnt useful tips, and love her enthusiasm with all the families she meets. There are a range of different projects each episode so you are constantly learning. I now know how to remove glass and windows safely.
I really hope they continue to make these, for women like me who lack confidence in a predominantly male world, it's brilliant! And why can't you rock makeup and a lilac workshop whilst you remove a chimney...!!??

Some TV producer decided to push Stacey Solomon forward. Maybe it's the same person we have to thank for Alison Hammond being pushed front and centre onto every programme it seems.
Solomon is likeable, there's no getting away from that, but she's being overexposed. Too much, way too soon, and the public will tire of it quickly.
This programme is fine, very much a post Covid format that will have its time before quietly being axed.
It's fine, it does the job, but it's certainly not the best bit of television the BBC or indeed Solomon is capable of making.
I'd axe it happily if given the chance.
