THE DRIFTER is a somewhat boring indie thriller that follows around the titular character, who is some middle-aged bald guy driven to extremes by his own messed-up psychology. There's little on-screen incident or content here, just foot-dragging, stretched-out boredom awaiting the unwary viewer who puts it on.
