- The opening scene is a couple having sex, spooning, her breasts clearly shown.
- Woman sees a naked man from distance and montages later she Is naked and have sex in the beach with the black man
- Some scenes show some tribal topless female nudity.
- A man is shown cuddling with a woman wrapped in blankets, presumably after sex, and hands her money.
- A fully nude man is shown standing in a waterfall. His penis is visible from a distance. A woman take her t-shirt & shorts(her panties are stay on) and join with him. The couple kiss and embrace.
- A couple is shown having sex on a beach. Initially from a distance and then close up. His butt and her breasts are shown. The scene pans from side and while no genital area are shown, it's quite graphic.

- One of the white masters constantly belittles, assaults and physically attacks others. There's a scene where he kills a snake.
- 3 men grab a woman and force her in a barn. She is beaten and then brutally raped. Although the violence happens off screen her cries can be heard.
- Several people are shot by guards while they try to board a ferry. Not very graphic.
- A badly injured man is transported in the truck of a car. His face is bloated with bloody wounds. His abdomen too shows a lot of inflicted wounds. He later trated in a hospital and a nurse stiches him up.
- dead bodies of 2 men are shown hanging from a tree. Stones seemed to be have been tied to their genitals. The scene has the sun setting in the background and hence dark. Most of the details are not identifiable.
- A slave is held and whipped.

- There are two rape scenes. One at the cocoa plantation and a second one more violent of one of the main characters. The second scene involves a group of three drunk white males assaulting a young black female. The assault is scene to some degree, but the rape scene is not and the door is shut.
