The best teenage series

I love this so much. Like you can enjoy the series. And also learn about your own body and society. And also enjoying their lovely faces. I just love it.

Great 1st and 2nd Season

As you may have guessed, I wasnn't a great fan of the 3rd season, largely because the best characters all graduated at the end of Seson2! Maybe should have started this great drama from Mathayom 4! So, why 'great'? It covers a myriad of Thai teenage issues (bullying, homosexuality, sex, Parent & Teacher-student relationships, cheating in exams (and on partners), drugs, fighting and more... and does so rather unflinchingly and non-judgementally - very rare for a Thai drama in my experience. The use of recreational drugs, while showing dangers of misuse and addiction, is balanced by also showing the euphoria felt by users and reasons for actually using illegal drugs in the first place. All told well, and acted really well too through seasons 1&2 (bar a bisexual male character who is pretty annoying), by a well-assembled cast of young talent. Season 3 is dreadful though. No endearing characters at all really. Surprised/ disappointed they didn't make more more use of the graduates. Ah, If they'd only stopped after 2 seasons! Just watched it all with subtitles, and hoping my Thai gets good enough to watch it without. Think I'm in love with Sprite from season 1&2, Great stuff

It can be tough growing up.

I started watching this because of the Thai culture. I didn't expect much, but soon reversed that thought as I continued watching.

This show is about high school students in Bangkok and their various trials and triumphs. What sets it apart is the way the show deals with elements such as love and loss, alcohol and drug abuse, same gender relationships, physical abuse, and even death. With this show, it is not just an assembly of people playing the parts. It digs much deeper into the emotional constructs of thought processes and morality, with sometimes controversial results.

Emotional extremes are a cornerstone of this type of drama, but this shows demonstrates it in both a thoughtful, and sometimes chilling way. From frustration of not being able to love the way a person wants, to triumph over the diversity one faces to finally make it happen, it is sometimes heart wrenching, and other times satisfying. If you have ever been in a situation where you were desperate for acceptance, you may be able to relate to an emotionally charged story arch that finishes off the series.

It's worth the time.

Nostalgic with your SHS Moment

This series has 3 season, which the first 2 season are very good, but the last one has no serious conflict than school organization things.

Let me write about season 1-2. With very popular actor and actress this series really attract people. In the story, they have different character with different background. This story really close with our daily life or at least school age..

Deceptively Complex

At first I thought this series was just about rich kids' problems, which honestly aren't all that interesting. But towards the end of the first season, things got real and suddenly the series became worth watching.

The good: Some real and important issues faced by high school kids are tackled, which is what makes this series. Though a point off for being a bit too dramatic at times.

The bad: There's a really annoying character that I'm not sure if it is meant to be over the top or not. In any case, that character really brought down the series, and thus another 1 - 2 points off for that.
