Frank intervenes when tensions rise between Mayor Chase and the fire commissioner of New York City. Erin is blindsided when Henry agrees to testify for the defense in a case she is prosecuting.

Frank intercedes after things get tense between Mayor Chase and the new NYC fire chief Veronica Radley. Erin finds herself in awkward position after Henry agrees to become a defense witness in one of her cases. Danny and Baez work a case that is sparked by the discovery of human remains at a storage facility. Eddie and Badillo are thrown a curve when the suspect in their case is scheduled to be an organ donor.—Zexvo

When the chief of the NYFD feels the mayor disrespects her and her men. She goes on the offensive posting offensive remarks which the mayor doesn't respond to favorably. Frank tries to act as peacemaker but it doesn't go as he hoped it would. Danny catches a case when a body is found in a storage locker. They find the person who rented the locker, a mentally challenged man.they wonder if he is the killer but they doubt it. But when other lockers with bodies are found. Erin is prosecuting an ex cop for using excessive force. She learns that Henry is going to testify for the defense which causes friction between them. Eddie and her partner arrest a protester. They later learn a retired cop got him released. They go to see him and learn he did it because the guy is suppose to donate a kidney for the cop's daughter. Newly-appointed FDNY commissioner Veronica Radley is furious when Mayor Chase dodges a firefighter's formal funeral in favor of a rally for migrants suspected of causing the fire. Frank tries to play mediator to no avail. Erin learns that Henry has agreed to testify about former harsh arresting methods for the defense attorney (which he usually demonizes) in a harassment case where the accused former cop with a bad reputation and attitude. Henry brilliantly disproves Erin and Antony's fear. Danny and Baez investigate when human remains are found in a storage unit, soon realizing a serial killer is on the loose as the same goes for more units on his name, but his denial proves valid. Eddie and Badillo arrest a climate protester who stomps on Badillo's hand and inadvertently causes a bicycle crash, but he is set to donate his kidney to his girlfriend, the daughter of a former cop who abused his influence to cut the donor loose, who would run and back out due to fear, but Badillo uses reverse psychology.—KGF Vissers
