More deals than you can shake an ewok at
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away there was no such thing as Black Friday. I mean, the Rebel Alliance had their hands full trying to overthrow the Galactic Empire and weren’t ideally placed to assess whether saving 30% on toothbrushes was a good deal or if they’d just got deal blindness in a fit of bargain-induced madness. Not even considering that toothbrushes have yet to be introduced into the full Star Wars universe, given only certain aliens seem to have teeth.
Where was I? Oh yeah, Star Wars deals. Black Friday may not exist on Tatooine or Dagobah, but it is here on Earth. Here are the best Star Wars Black Friday bargains:
Assorted Propel Battle Drones (was £199.99, now £119.99)
Jon loved Propel’s Star Wars drones when he reviewed them back in September, but there was one little problem.

The crazy world of Derren Brown is not without controversy and debate. Here we revisit 11 of the illusionist's most gripping TV stunts...
Being friends with Derren Brown must be simultaneously fascinating and utterly terrifying. A vastly intelligent natural performer with charisma and charm to spare, Derren has been confounding audiences with his brand of “magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship” for something approaching two decades and has successfully pulled-off a remarkable evolution from skilled street magician to performer of increasingly ambitious television events.

Composer John Powell chats to us about scoring Jason Bourne, working with John Woo, his upcoming work and more.
Few contemporary film composers have made an impact quite like John Powell. From animation to drama to his immediately influential, propulsive Bourne soundtracks, Powell's energetic, emotional and heartfelt blend of symphony orchestra, electronics and percussion make him a singular voice.

A little under a year ago we got tremendously excited when we learned that VH1 Classic was going to be reborn as MTV Classic. Visions of Remote Control marathons filled our heads along with the chance to finally see if lost classics like The State, The Ben Stiller Show, The Tom Green Show and The Andy Milonakis Show lived up to our memories. The MTV vault was overflowing with half-forgotten gems and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to see them again.

For those of you looking for the ultimate collectible toy from The Dark Knight Rises, look no further because Hot Toys has created a 1/12th scale collectible of Batman’s flying vehicle The Bat. Sideshow Collectibles sent one over to me for review, and this thing is insanely badass!
The Bat is easily one of the best collectible vehicles that Sideshow has to offer. I knew it was going to be cool, I just didn’t how awesome it would actually be. As soon as the giant box arrived at the door, it was like Christmas morning, and I immediately turned into a ten-year-old kid. I carried the box into my apartment and tore right into it!
There’s a little assembly required for The Bat, but not as much as I was expecting. It took me about an hour or so to put it together, but I took my...

There has been a great disturbance in the Force, as if a million voices suddenly cried out with delight, and Disney execs’ eyes lit up with a number of dollar signs.
The Mouse House have done many great things with Star Wars since their purchase of Lucasfilm back in 2012, and thus far the way they’ve marketed the film, which has given very little away compared to most modern blockbusters, has been without fault.
Even though they’re treating it with the respect that it deserves, there was also never any doubt that they’d be milking this fattest of cash cows for all it’s worth, and that process is well underway now thanks to Force Friday: an entire day, a global event, dedicated to the unveiling of The Force Awakens toys from the likes of Hasbro, Lego, and the rest.
