It's Not a Good Movie
deloudelouvain13 April 2020
What a dumb movie did I just watched again! My wife is surprised how I manage to find all those atrocities, over and over again. The writers of this piece of garbage (calling it a movie is just an insult to other movies) should look out for another job, I heard McDonalds is recruiting so there's still hope for those guys. The script is so bad you just wonder if they did it on purpose, just to annoy us. The acting works perfectly with the story, absolute garbage as well. As for the comedy, well that's easy, I didn't laugh once, not even a grin, and there's nothing wrong with my sense of humor, enough said!

Don't be fooled by the summary, this is a dark comedy
arminio-7009816 December 2018
The brief summary doesn't do the movie much justice, the movie is a dark comedy. The movie follows Carly and Milo, two people going on an online date who hook up and discover they had been on a bad date previously. After Carly's attempt to get back at him backfires horribly, Milo ends up as a prisoner trapped in Carly's house. As time goes on, more people get drawn into the cover-up, and more crimes are committed. I get that it might not before everyone but is fun for a rainy day to have in the background, and as of this review, it's on Amazon Prime for free.

Get past the first five or ten minutes
name99-92-54538916 February 2020
I understand, there are so many low-budget indie movies, and most of them suck. I give most five to ten minutes and if they haven't sparked any joy by then, I move on.

I was not impressed with the opening of this movie. Moviemakers, WTF is wrong with you? You only get one chance to make a first impression, and you want to blow it with cliched opening scenes like we've seen a million times, and SLOW establishment of the basic storyline and characters? Look at the highest budget most successful movies. They open dropping you in the middle of the action, and assume that, yes, you have seen a movie before, you know how to put two and two together, how to figure out the storyline from fragments.

So, yeah, dumb, slow opening. Skip the first five minutes, skip getting to the bar, jump to waking up the next day. That's when something original starts and you actually begin to get drawn into the movie. It's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it is funny outrageous, and it does keep you hooked wondering how this craziness is going to resolve itself. (In a way I certainly did not see coming.)

A fantastic screwball comedy

Warning: Spoilers
An interesting concept of when a good date goes bad, and the morning after turns into a nightmare.

Great performances by the 2 main actors, with brilliant cameos, an interesting plot line that develops into something you'd not want to find yourself in.

A fantastic screwball comedy.

Interesting cameo from Eric Roberts, his wife Eliza Robbers and Nina Hartley.

Poor Milo (our Anti-hero) endures a lot in the name of revenge and love.
