Little thriller with a Killer that does the trick.

Nothing crazy or fancy. There are a lot of locations and nice visuals for a probably low-budget film.

I really like the chemistry between Susan (M. Hassler) and Thomas (K. Landler). It's cute, and the delivery works in my opinion. How the duo evolves is cool.

The baddie can be creepy. Not gonna spoil the name.

The acting can be uneven at times, but the mains stay solid throughout the movie. Worth a watch if you like binging those little thrillers with a killer.

Okay, I have to write more, so the lakes, the university, the landscape, etc., give it a good production value... I think this is Michigan... Well, writing a book now... Done!

Fun film to watch

The Past Comes Knocking is a simple film, but that's to its credit.

It's easy to follow, as a former Investigative Journalist, Susan, sees her past that she tried to escape from come back to haunt her. Her initial goal was to escape her past for her and her daughter's safety, but is quickly brought back in following the disappearance of two of her own TAs at work.

What follows is an investigation into the disappearances as well as possible crimes against her which forces Susan to race against time to clear her name and find the perpetrator.

If you're looking for a simple but effect mystery, this is the one for you.

WARNING: do not watch this! You'll regret it if you do!

It must be a record for me how quickly I figured out who the killer is. The creepy professor with the thick French accent was annoying to the level of crawling under the skin! They tried to deflect the story by throwing a red herring so we would think we know who the killer is.

The dinner date with Thomas was full of nauseating cheesy dialogue. Oh heck while we're at it, the acting was abysmal on all counts, well with the exception of Autumn the daughter. I that's because she didn't have a longer time in front of the camera.

Thomas continued to be cringy. Gosh I am running out of things to day I hope I made the six-hundred characters, to get this posted.
