Peak TV

Bluey is not just a kids show. It's for everyone - kids and adults alike.

The Sign is an amazing episode in an already outstanding show. It's got some great callbacks to previous episodes and some neat Easter eggs. But what really makes The Sign great is the cleverly crafted and deeply moving story that is just perfectly executed. Having the Healer house, which has been an integral part of the show, up for sale creates some big emotional stakes. Thankfully this "special" episode is longer than usual so it can take us on an emotional roller-coaster.

TV doesn't get much better than this. I love this show.

Thankyou.

On the off chance that any of the cast and crew get a chance to read this, I just want to say Thankyou.

Thankyou for all the hours of entertainment.

Thankyou for for the constant inspiration to be a better parent.

Thankyou for helping my children and i bond even closer.

Thankyou for reminding us all how to be kids again.

Every single aspect of every episode is so thoughtfully created, from the incredible voice actors, to the entire animation team, to the sound and music, and to the entire Brumm family for sharing so many personal stories. Bluey is the most heart felt show I have ever watched.

It has redefined parenting for me, and so many other mums and dads that I know and the latest episode The Sign, is perfect, yet an absolute emotional roller coaster.

Thankyou to everyone behind Bluey.

Also Lucky's Dad Pat, you are a legend!

The greatest Bluey episode? We'll see.
fredricok-114 April 2024
If you are worried if a 7 minute cartoon can translate to a 28 minute special then fear not, it absolutely can. Incredible storytelling, foreshadowing, easter eggs and the usual Bluey emotional gut punches are all there in spades.

This episode feels like the culmination of every series and episode that's gone before and the writers absolutely nail every beat and allow the story to really breathe and sink in for each main character. Irregardless of your parenting status, this will hit you in so many ways and the nuances and call backs add so many layers. The creators really can do no wrong.

Quite simply phenomenal TV.

Thank you, Ludo Studios

A test for a movie that will become the best chapter of the whole series, a roller coaster of emotions that makes you cry and laugh. Giving you the meaning of what life is and how it moves forward.

The pace is great and you completely forget that the previous episodes were only 7 minutes long. Joe Braum, is a genius.

It helps us to see how children don't quite understand some meanings and how, when they find out, it can be very hard for them. Bluey is growing up and we notice it.

This chapter talks about how the most important thing is family and spending time with them, regardless of how our future will turn out.

Bluey Should be rated a 10.0
ollyleutert14 April 2024
This episode draws to every moment of the episode being just spectacular. This was one of the best moments ever in tv history i feel and Joe Brumm and the Bluey team have just executed it with just First Class This episode was the best and most heartwarming with Cricket and many other episodes that the show provided to all ages of our community. This is the golden crown of all tv cartoons and shows i feel all shots are amazing the music by Megan Washington Memorable to listen to at the end i want a song by a particular Aussie or British artist at the end of any heartwarming or particular season.

It is beautiful
Gryfek_pv14 April 2024
It is simply beautiful, stories that appear in real life and make everyone wonder whether they did the right thing or maybe made a mistake.

But there is a melody in this film that touches the heart and adds atmosphere, and especially at the end, when the melody makes everyone watch the end credits with tears in their eyes because there is no other way to watch it than with tears in your eyes and with tissues in your hand or hugging another person.

If I have a girlfriend, I will show her this episode because I can't watch it alone and then I will show it to my children and tell them that I always love them and I try my best for them to be happy.

EVERYTHING!!!
sgjgktbg14 April 2024
It was ... EVERYTHING To embody and so beautifully explain the emotions children feel in that moment but also parents ... also wives trying to support husbands, and fathers trying to do the best for their family.... This is episode was BEAUTIFUL!!!!

For everyone who works on this show from the top to bottom ... thank you for your creative artistic work! It is a masterpiece! It is legendary! It is purposeful.

In a time where our country and the world feels like it's in a "not a happy ending" place ... we desperately needed a "we'll see" of hope.

A beautiful example of what honesty and trying can look like!!

A Heartwarming Rollercoaster - "Bluey" Does It Again!
lrkshdn-6544015 April 2024
This episode is, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this already stellar series. Truly the best show on television, Bluey consistently manages to touch the very core of its audience, and this episode elevates that experience to new heights. As an adult, I found myself taken on an emotional journey that was both poignant and uplifting, resonating deeply with both myself and my husband - even more so than with our kids, who also adored it.

This episode masterfully blends humor, warmth, and life lessons, leaving viewers with both laughs and tears. The creative storytelling and rich character development invite us to reflect on our own life experiences. "Bluey" continues to be a show that not only entertains but also enriches, making it a must-watch for anyone who cherishes quality family programming. If you haven't watched it yet, this episode is the perfect place to start. 10 stars!

Just an emotional rollercoaster
niktowsky_14 April 2024
In short, it's an emotional rollercoaster... As a 20-year-old, I cried at the end, but I believe this episode is just the beginning of everything, not the end. As always, the music by Joff Bush and the crew builds tension so powerfully, and Meg Washington's song fits the theme of the episode perfectly - it was mainly because of it that I had tears in my eyes. I really don't know what to write here, because I don't want to accidentally reveal something to people who haven't watched it... You just have to watch it for yourself. I'm looking forward to the full-length film! Because this episode was probably a preparation for it.

Amazing

Warning: Spoilers
The best episode of Bluey yet.

The emotion and stakes are high for the Heeler family as they try to navigate the big feelings that come with the sale of their house and with Frisky and Rad on the outs as Frisky runs into some trouble with Rad right before her wedding.

The story of the farmer being interwoven into the larger plot was a stroke of genius.

There are tons of callbacks and easter eggs here for long time fans and enough jokes to still offset the heavier moments of the story.

Just a beautiful story and a top 3 episode of Bluey. Maybe the best one they've ever done. If you don't end this episode with tears in your eyes you must not have a heart because it will almost certainly pull at your heartstrings.

Well done Bluey team, another masterpiece!! Thank you for this.

A good long episode but with mixed feelings over the ending.
opalpika13284 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was a special episode of Bluey, which was 27 mins long instead of the usual short 7 mins. It dealt with several topics here, of moving and a wedding. Bluey was very upset about having to move and Bandit decided to do this move since he has a new job in the city, Chili wasn't excited for it but she felt like she didn't have a choice in the matter either. Rad and Frisky were also getting married, but after Rad announced that they're moving, Frisky calls the wedding off. Before that Bluey was too upset to do flower girl practice with Bingo, Muffin and Socks because of the house getting sold, Bingo doesn't mind (at first, until she finds out later what it means for a house to be sold). So Bluey, Bingo and Muffin try to pull out the sign and Frisky almost helped until she got the call. Chili then takes the girls and Bluey gets to experience the front seat of the car for the first time in a chase to find Frisky and to talk to her on still keeping the wedding. Funny antics ensue and the moment that Socks has to use the bathroom slowing down the chase, they finally catch up with Frisky and Chili attempts to talk to Frisky and to Bluey about everything, from getting the wedding back and about moving as well. The wedding is back on and Rad and Frisky are not moving and they had a dance party afterwards. The next day Chili reveals to Bingo about what happens when the house gets sold, which then leaves her devastated, trying to pull the sign out, and Bluey comforts her with the story Calypso told her. The dogs that were going to buy the house changed their minds and found the house they actually wanted with a pool, and Bandit changed his mind about selling the house which made the rest of the family happy.

Now the ending has definite mixed opinions here. First this was a good epiaode for its first long episode, and it was great to hear Socks fully talk, she really grew since season 1 had her like a normal dog until she started growing up and progressing in talking and walking on two legs as seasons went on, which is great development. Muffin had her silly antics too here. Calypso's message about good endings existing because there's so many bad ones was good as well as the message in "everything will work out the way it supposed to", which that got totally retconned with the ending though. Now what made people not like the ending much is that the Heelers didn't move with Bandit changing his mind. Many people like episodes of Bluey because of the themes that it covers and that how some can relate to them, but with the whole topic of moving it seemed to be unrealistic to some. Not everyone can just change their minds about a move like Bandit did. Especially with movers coming in and taking the furniture out of the Heelers' house with Bingo sadly reacting afer the news and what it meant for the house being sold and Bandit being excited about going to the city to a higher paying job. So the movers eventually came back with the rest of their stuff and Bandit declined the offer then? Again, the ending was questionable and not everyone can cancel a move and plans that they had with a move either. Yes the sheepdogs did cancel the offer but Bandit still could've made the move with the family despite that, there could've been another buyer. It also could've shown Bluey and Bingo slowly adjusting to their new house and area, and going to new schools and getting new friends. They still can go back and visit their old friends and relatives in their old area. They may grow to like it, and it will show that moving isn't all bad. If parents that are going through moving with their kids watched this episode you know some would wonder why they're still moving when Bluey's family aren't. So other than this ending it was good for a first long episode.

Terrible message
deliabattie15 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I usually love Bluey, it sets an example of how families should behave towards each other. I was so shocked by the message in this episode. I thought it was going to be an episode which would help children embrace change and deal with the difficulty of moving house, schools etc. Instead it gives an entirely inappropriate and unrealistic message that even when your furniture is out of the door there's a chance if you wish hard enough you might not have to move after all. Poor children who will get their hopes up after watching this episode and then be forced to move. It would have been so much better if the message had been sometimes you have to move and it can be sad but maybe you will enjoy the change. I watched the ending in horror at how such a wonderful programme could have got this so wrong. However, ending made my husband cry, so what do I know?

The Peak of Bluey and TV Itself
criselproda14 April 2024
The Sign is one of the best episodes of a TV series I've seen. This episode brings you on an emotional rollercoaster and is an incredible closing to the season. This episode has 30 minutes of an incredibly elaborated episode that will leave you flabbergasted. The Sign truly shows that Bluey is a world-changing show and can be enjoyed and loved by children, teens, and adults alike. I truly think the directors, artists, voice actors, etc did a once in a lifetime job with The Sign, only compared to Ozymandias.

The Sign brings a peak to TV and the series itself which we haven't seen in a long time. 10/10.

ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!
johncrutkowski14 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
In my 25 years of life thus far, I never expected to see something so touching and powerful from a TV-Y show, especially from one that began well into my adulthood. There are all those classics from childhood I'll never forget and Bluey has topped them all in ways I never imagined. And this special episode brought more from the show than even I expected.

First, we have a plot line of our titular Bluey wanting to get off the titular sign & the bride to be nearly calls off the wedding. We get a great search storyline which feels like my own childhood car trips.

The Lesson of waiting and seeing, though not easy for me. I do believe to be valuable for this kind of show.

I honestly expected the Wedding to be the highlight of the episode. It included plenty of memorable moments but that the Highlight was still yet to come as that wasn't even the end of the episode.

The Next Day, the Move. It appears to be the end of an era for Bluey, a major change is about to begin. This leads to goodbyes, but that's STILL not it.

The dogs who were buying the Heeler house find another house for sale with a pool that they wanted. Back at the car, Bandit gets the call & that's where a standing ovation occurs. A touching song plays as Bandit removes the sign and tosses it into the street. I can feel this as I'm one who'd never from my home metro area. A moment of pure happiness that I never thought I'd see. A celebration of the Heelers all agreeing they'd like to stay. A second lesson here I find is that Change can be good but at the same time, some things are good enough that they don't need to change, a balance even I struggle with.

Bluey has made some phenomenal episodes in these 6 years and their special episode truly brought out the most beautiful and tearful story of all.

And I say WELL DONE BLUEY! YOU'VE MADE THE ULTIMATE TV-Y MASTERPIECE!

One of the best pieces of media ever made!
andremcclellan14 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This episode "the sign"was a cinematic emotional humorous masterpiece. The whole thing with the character (pretzel) having two moms was something I didn't realize on the first watch but they handled it extremely well. The song at the end (lateralus drug) was A MASTERPIECE. A storyline I didn't expect was Wintons dad and the terrier's mom are actually starting a relationship and once again it was handled so good. The humor was amazing as usual, but, THE ANIMATION WAS PIXAR LEVEL QUALITY for a show that's Target demographic are children. This episode should have a 10 out of 10, but by the time I'm done writing this it might. The part where they sold the house, but changed their mind was so emotional. The kids voices sound so grown up 😭 SHOCKS WAS SPEAKING FLUID ENGLISH 😭

"The episode The Sign"
henboy-9894320 April 2024
"The Sign."

"I was deeply moved by a particular episode of a show that I recently watched.

The show evoked such strong emotions in me that I found myself shedding tears.

I believe that those who have watched it would have experienced a similar level of emotional response.

Interestingly, even with the volume turned off, the visuals alone were powerful enough to evoke such a strong emotional reaction."

The way the episode resonated with you speaks to the strength of its storytelling and the skill of its creators.

It's a testament to the power of visual storytelling when it can move audiences to tears without even relying on dialogue or sound.

This particular episode seems to have a universal quality to it, as you suggest that others who have watched it likely experienced a similar emotional journey.

My daughter asked me why I was crying...
pvptvn22 April 2024
I watched this episode with my 4 years old daughter, she was laughing and I was crying. She asked me why I cried because she thought it was so funny, I told her, you'll understand so much more than the funny things of this story when you become a parent. This is a perfect story that full of love, laughter, life lessons and tears. It resonates not only with the kids but the adults. How did they do it? Not one bit of this 28 minutes show is boring from the pictures, conversations and the music. Every day could be the best day, or the worst day, all depends on how you perceive it. Hands down 10 out of 10, and if there is a score of 150, I would have given it.

I wasn't expecting to cry when I got up this morning, but here we are. Have a box of tissues nearby before you start. I would recommend watching a few episodes before you watch this one, specifically Camping, Double Babysitter, Onesies, TV Shop, Mum School, Helicopter, Daddy Dropoff, and Slide. They're about 8 minutes each, so it shouldn't take to long. I would also recommend Facetalk, Baby Race, Army, Road Trip, Dragon, and Grannies. This episode is very well done and deals with a lot of issues that it isn't easy to talk to kids about, or even adults sometimes. Great episode, 10 out of 10 stars.

A lot of the episodes are very warm and touching, love watching the. With my daughter. This one was not in that category, I always try and take into consideration what she is thinking or feeling. This episode I think sends a wrong message and signal to parents and children. The same reason we don't allow a 5 or 7 year old to make life altering decisions, for they do not have the development or life skills to do so. It see it as no difference that saying yes to ice cream for every meal because they are pouting if they don't get what they want. Panerts have to make choices that are hard at times.

I remember the first time I saw an episode of Bluey was in the ER and I didn't like it. What episode was that? Sleepy time. Then in May last year when stickbird came out I Began to watch the show and I loved it including Sleepytime. But this episode wow This was such a good episode. I wish it was a bit longer. I do not cry at any show. Yet as a male senior in high school The second bingo realized it was going on and the point after that it almost brought me to tears. I felt my eyes watering, but tears came out. This was just so good. I've already rewatched it numerous times and each time I love hunting for little details. GREAT EPISODE 10/10.

Honestly, never thought I'd say this but honestly wow. Sitting here balling my eyes out. The love Chilli and Bandit have is a great adversity to any child out there that loves this show. My girlfriend got me into Bluey and straight after meeting her I binged the whole series. Never did I think I'd be sitting here writing a review about a kids show, but here I am. The 4 kids deserve a bafta because they were outstanding. Socks and Muffin getting a good, long part is exactly what they deserved. One of the most beautiful pieces of TV I have ever watched. Makes me want to move to Brisbane immediately. Outstanding.

I watched this episode on Disney+ and I really love it! It is 28 minutes long, I was really excited this morning, I couldn't wait to watch this. That is my favourite show, I love Peppa Pig much, but I love the characters, Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli, and others, I watched it on Disney+ because it was just released and it is popular right now, it is 4 times then the normal episode. The story is about the "For Sale" sign (at the end of the previous episode) and Frisky and Rad getting married. And also. Tears and laughter were shining. I was very excited of seeing the episode. I know. I really love Bluey and her family.

The perfect example of a TV Special
qmanrocks16 April 2024
Bluey: The Sign is the team's first ever episode that's longer than usual. Every episode contains 7 minutes worth of enjoyment, whereas the special is an entire 28 minutes. That might not seem like a lot for a TV Special, but it's not the time that matters. It's the story and how it's told.

Before watching, I'd already seen online that it excels as an episode of Bluey. And after watching, I can confidently agree. Of course, it's a "kids" show, so it has to have a happy ending. But I will admit, the writers had me guessing at several points at where the story could go. As is standard for Bluey, many of the topics in the episode are relatable to both younger and older audiences alike, featuring many themes such as distrust in a relationship, leaving home, and understanding that not every story has to have an ending, good or bad.

The special even has some callbacks to previous episodes, but works them in well enough to where someone who hasn't watched said episodes still understands the significance of them.

I am so glad shows like these are getting the attention of the public, as it truly brings us together as a community. I have seen several posts online praising this special, and it really goes to show just how much a community can adore a piece of media. So thank you, to everyone, for keeping this show alive.
