Quiet Life

Luke Rollason has co-written the surreal short film, Quiet Life. It is almost a silent film.

He plays Geoffrey who has been publically jilted, in that everyone around recorded the event on their phones and shared it online.

Geoffrey buries his phone in the garden and wants to shun the modern world. Only a cockerel to wake him up in the morning.

No phones, no junk mail, not even any music on the radio.

However when his sister tells him about a singles night. Geoffrey reluctantly goes and connects with Sophie (Ella Bruccoleri) another loner.

Now Geoffrey needs to retrieve his phone, the one he dropped into a mobile phone recycling bin.

There is some inventiveness, some surreal bits. It is colourful. Rollason has a very expressive face.
