It’s that time of year again, folks: The Dark World has screened for critics and it’s secrets are in the aether…uh…the ether. That also means that Team Marvel Studios is making themselves available to the press, even if what they are saying is as cryptic as Sir Feige always is. That doesn’t mean we’re not getting good information, it just mediates the degree of our engagement.

Mother and daughter duo Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri Martino are set to play one on TV in a single-camera comedy project, which has received a pilot production commitment by NBC. Written by Martino and Will McCormack based on an original idea from Martino, Growing Ivy is about Type A+ Ivy Davis (Martino) who craves the stability she lacked in her childhood and, as a result, has thrown herself into her career at the expense of her personal life. In an attempt to restore balance and potentially find love, she invites her freewheeling, eccentric mom, Franckie (Sarandon), to move in with her and work on their relationship. Warner Bros. TV and McCormack and Rashida Jones’ studio-based Le Train Train are producing, with McCormack and Jones executive producing, Oscar winner Sarandon and Martino co-executive producing and Jeff Grosvenor producing. It's shaping up to be a busy year for Rashida Jones. She's still got a few more episodes of Parks And Recreation on the way, she's just finished shooting Salsa-dancing comedy Cuban Fury with Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd, and she can't stop selling pilots for TV shows. Writer Ben Queen (Cars 2) and Rashida Jones and Will McCormack‘s Le Train Train — each already behind a put pilot commitment — have teamed up for A To Z, a single-camera romantic comedy, which has landed at NBC with a put pilot commitment. Written by Queen, A To Z follows a relationship between a young couple, comprehensively, from meeting to breakup, over the course of a season. There are no current plans for Jones and McCormack to star. The two are executive producing with Queen. Queen, creator of the Fox series Drive, is writing an adaptation of the comic book Unthinkable for Fox with a put pilot commitment with Howard Gordon exec producing.
