Pitruoon is a masterpiece by none other than Nithish Bharadwaj, Excellent performance of Sachin Khadekar its based on Runa - a kannada story by Sudha Murthy.

The film revolves around a famous archeologists meets his look alike and he investigates the roots of both.

A must watch for movie lovers in Prime.

Letter of Love for Liberation from Life

A very poignant movie, involving unfulfilled love, that weaves around a very sacred tradition of fulfilling a promise made after passing away of one's parent. You can feel each emotion of the lead characters. You can feel a sense a decades long closure when Tanuja takes the ring back in her hand in the climax. It also makes us reflect to not judge the actions done in past. Not everyone gets to spend lifetime with true love. If you're getting that, feel blessed - and treasure it for lifetime.

One of the best marathi movie, storyline, acting and everything executed exceptionally.

The direction of movie kept you always there.

Sachin Khedekar and Tanuja ji acting are on another level.

Extremely touching theme. Deftly handled by the stellar cast. Hats off to the execution. Moved by the story. One of the best movies I have seen in the past 2-3 years. Watch it without any spoilers please. The twists and turns were truly thrilling and unexpected. Truly memorable acting. I will never forget either the characters or the way in which the complex theme was handled. It was a treat to watch Tanuja Maam on screen after so many years. This is certainly going to be a film that she will be remembered for. Nitish Bharadwaj, you truly are one of the most underrated talents in India today. We are truly blessed to have a genius like you in our midst.
