This movie horrified me and my cousins. Mark was an intelligent, kind, sensitive, hardworking person. Meanwhile, Chris was a whiny, immature, jealous, and judgmental person who made Megan feel bad about herself and her personal decisions. By making Megan end up with Chris, Hallmark taught young people everywhere to choose people who make them feel judged and unworthy. A simillar ending that would've sent a good message is Megan ending up with Mark. By turning Mark evil, the writers taught young children that people can't change and richer, better-looking, more popular people are villains just because thay make you feel insecure. This was painful to watch because as we were watching, we all thought Mark was a wonderful person and he and Megan would've been happy together. But we slowly realized that this was not going to happen, but like a slow motion car crash we couldn't stop watching. We watched until Mark's inspiring character was ruined and we painfully cringed as she inevitably kissed Chris at the end. We all go to Hallmark for sweet love movies that take our mind off our problems, not so they can create more. But I, Mark Blobby, am not a person who simply complains about a problem. I fix it. So my proposal to HallMARK is that they make a sequel, for Marks everywhere. In a sequel we should find out that Chris threatened to hurt Megan if Mark didn't break up with her. Mark, being his wonderful self, was forced to do it. But in the sequel he worries about Megan and goes on a long journey to find her and save her. Then children would learn how toxic people like Chris are, and how selfless and kind people like Mark are.
