The Stoner Buddy Comedy We All Needed

With all the great stoner comedies available, Rosetta Stoned stands apart as being one of a kind. It ignores some of the overdone stoner tropes that other movies lean on, and instead supplements with creative, original comedy that had me laughing so hard I had to catch my breath! From the very beginning of the movie, you know your in for a gut-busting ride with two very different people that form a bond over the green leaf.

With Edward's incredible awkwardness, and the teacher's hilarious, blatant disregard for his job, this is a movie you can enjoy over and over again anytime you need a good laugh!

"Rosetta Stoned" is an absolute gem of a movie that had me and my friends laughing non-stop! I loved all of the actors/actresses. From the very beginning, the jokes from the teacher were on point, delivering one hilarious punchline after another. The chemistry between the two main characters was so genuine and heartwarming, it made me root for their friendship from the start. This movie is a perfect blend of comedy and heart, leaving you with a big smile on your face. I highly recommend "Rosetta Stoned" if you're in the mood for a good laugh and a feel-good experience. Trust me, you don't want to miss it! 10/10.

Not only is this movie great to watch sober, it becomes a masterpiece when high yourself. My friends and I did a watch party after getting stoned, we were all on the floor just absolutely geeking. If you're planning on watching the movie, I'd recommend doing so yourself with a group of friends, it's a great experience. Good to watch sober also of course.

Given the budget of the movie, I'm I was surprised (pleasantly) at the quality of acting and the production value. The story telling itself was also quite good, veering away from the typical stoner type movies, but not so far, that it's not relatable.

This is not a movie you want to miss.

Great Feel Good Stoner Comedy

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Lots of great laughs, a good story, and doesn't succumb to the typical tropes of stoner films. Lots of meme-able scenes between the two leads and who can forget about the French teacher. There was a ton of chemistry between both the leads and even some of the supporting roles. Although the film would be considered micro-budget, the production quality was outstanding. You could tell that everyone on the cast and crew cared about producing a great comedy and it really shows in the final cut. Overall, I enjoyed this film more than I expected and would recommend it to anyone looking for 2000s-esque comedy.
